Then you didn't read any of the stickies or anything else on this forum. You should do that first otherwise you're going to get nothing but flamed from all of the more experienced players. I'd start with Nooblestick's updated rogue guide and Demea's rogue quick talent guide. They're at the top of this forum you can't miss them. Nooble's guide talks about all of the talents and how to synergize builds, Demea's guide cuts to the chase with little explanation but if you read Nooble's guide first, which you should, you'll understand why some talents are better than others.

We're not going to spell it out for you. We've answered this question quite effectively and repeatedly and don't care to do it yet again. There are plenty of old posts about this topic so if you don't get after the first 2 stickies try there and if you still don't get it, try asking a more specific question.

Something like this:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0ebovZGcVobVzxMGot

Use swords. Vindicator's Brand from Aldors as main, Latro's Shifting Sword from Black Morras last boss as off hand.
Then go for +to hit, +attack power and crit chance. Around 150+ hit rating, 1400+ attack power and 20%+ crit chance should be enough to start kara runs.

And raise up your search skills.

Oh my God, I'm actually crying.

A poster with 3 posts to their account, posting a highly legible, informative post like that with a perfect talent build.

I'm so proud of Demea, myself, and Nooble.

The only thing that could be said in addition is that the Season 1 swords (and next season, Season 2) can be bought on honor and will be superior to any swords you can find in PvE encounters until T5/6, respectively.

Thank you Theo.
I like to read something first before writing something else. It's good to have some basic informations.

Ok, so now I have some questions. ;)
You said that pvp swords are better than pve swords pre t5/t6. Right now I'm using Vindicator's in main and Latro's in offhand. If I earn about 2k honor points (shouldn't be a problem even for pve player) i could afford Gladiator's Slicer. Next 9k honor and I could get Gladiator's Quickblade.
With patch 2.4 everyone can get second Latro's sword. I don't have that sword yet, in fact I wasn't in Magister Terrace yet. I can't check this right now, but if you have second Latro's sword in backpack, you can still get set bonus right? If yes then Latro's get another 30 attack power, which is nice. Latro's is very fast sword (1.4), faster then Gladiator's...
Is it still better to get Gladiator's Quickblade rather than Latro's Shifting Sword? Maybe it's lame question and answer is obvious but still, please tell me what is better: Quickblade or Latro's (with second Latro's sword in backpack)?
I will be a little dissapointed, because i was working hard to get than damn Latro's Sword from BM (16 or maybe 17 runs), and that I could spent less time on bgs. ;(

Ok, next question. Let's say I have Gladiator's Slicer. Next better main hand sword would be Spiteblade and then Merciless Gladiator's Slicer right?

So, to sum up everything.
I should throw away Vindicator's Brand and get Gladiator's Slicer and throw away Latro's and get Gladiator's Quickblade?

I believe to get any (set) bonus, you need to have the items equipped, not just in your bag.

As for the S1s, Right now I've got the Vindicator's in my MH and the s1 OH equipped and am enjoying it so far (at least until I can get enough honor for the s1 mh).

S1/S1 is a far upgrade from Latro's and Vind. 91 DPS > 83/71 DPS.

Latro's OH is still ~10 DPS less than a S1 OH as combat.

If not for you three, I doubt my rogue would have gotten out of Arathi Highlands. Seriously. Probably have my 'Lock raiding t5 content... but....

Side question: Why do all posts that start off with "I've done a lot of research/reading/looking around..." always ask the same three well-covered questions?

They're saying that because they really haven't and think if they say that, I won't flame them for being an asshat and not reading the stickies.

I say it because I really do read the stuff and can't find my answer, and if it really is in the stickies and I managed to skim over it, then I'm a loser.

Also with the new badge gear from 2.4 Combat Fists is alot stronger then it was if only because of the absurd DPS on them.

I myself am Fist+Sword at the moment though I don't have a Badge weapon, just Big Bad Wolf's Claw and Latro's.

When will the badge weapons be available? I keep checking the guy in shattrath but he does not have them yet.

They aren't at the Shat Badge vendor, they are at the badge vendor unlocked in Phase 3 of Quel'danas.

Depends on your server's progression in Sunwell.

The new badge fists mean I don't have to respec back to swords. Thanks Bliz!

The vendor becomes unlocked with the zone. Proudmoore was 5% from the final unlock phase last night (I think) but it varies from server to server.
