Need help with 45 CharacterFollow

#1 Mar 30 2008 at 6:25 PM Rating: Decent
I don't play very often and this is my first character to reach level 45 so I am still very much a newbie.

I'm not sure how I should equip my character as far as stats go.
What stats should I stay away from or ignore and which ones are imperative that I need. I'm already guessing Intelligence & Spirit but I have no idea about the other ones.

I'm an affliction Warlock with engineering:

Here is my character: Ashby

So I'm wondering if it looks like I'm on a good path for my character or am I doing things all wrong?

Sorry this post is so long - I just don't want to spend a bunch of money on equipment at this point if I'm not equipping my character correctly.

Also thank you for any feedback you can give me.

Check out to the WoW armory at http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/

Or at http://eu.wowarmory.com/

(depending on if you play on a US or EU server)

Search for your character and provide the link to its page. That way people will be able to check your gear and stats with greater ease and provide better feedback.

Thank you for the advise - I revised my original post. That is the coolest thing (The armory)

Spirit is useless. You have Life Tap and multiple ways of getting health back. For a warlock, having a good health pool equals having a good mana pool. As far as stats go, +STA, +INT, and +Spell damage should be your objectives at L45. What you need to remember is that "of the Eagle" is something you want.

Since you're affliction, "of Shadow Wrath" will probably give you more bang for the buck than normal spell damage as most of your good spells are shadow based.
