Doomguard=DepressingFollow

So i decided to summon a doomguard today i've only did it a couple of times. The ritual happens then bam comes out awesome doomguard so i enslave him. I get him for less then 2 minutes... LESS THEN 2 MINUTES for what? an hour cooldown and a 1g reagent item and a pet that cant do anything.

I am kinda curious has anyone managed to keep him for the whole 5 minutes?

I think they should change it like... The summoning doesnt kill anyone and you keep doomguard for 5 minutes when its up he just dies.

What does everyone else think of doomguard?

Remnant of the old game.

I rarely use even the Inferno summon spell. He crits for 1,000+, but so does my Felguard when he's got the frenzy buff stacked up. Plus he's got Cleave and Intercept and he doesn't turn on your after 3-4 minutes.

Useless spells. Well, useless unless you enjoy summoning one in Goldshire.

Infernal and Doomguard are fun in PvP, of course getting a pug battleground to sacrifice someone for your pet is rather minimal

I use the Infernal on outdoor bosses when im S&F destro. The extra dps is nice hehe.

But i agree the Doomguard is quite disapointing, which is a shame because warstomp and cripple are amazing spells. usually i cast COS on him then enslave and i can keep him for about 4 min max, never had him stay the whole 5min.

If the summoning animation looks like that of the soulwell, I think it might be worth for my Warlock to grab the quest and get it.

Ohh, the fun I could have while preparing for a BG.

a pyroblast followed by an infernal summon can wreck a pug in wsg. you know since everyone feels the need to stand right on the fc so 1 stun with massive damage with a shadowfury right after makes everyone wish that instead of grouping with the carrier to defend, they had gone on O instead.

other than that, they are garbage that is used to annoy lowbies in our starting zones.
