Bugged Polymorph Pig quest?Follow

I just completed the "Fragmented Magic" quest for Polymorph: Pig and got the XP but no spell.

Is there something I'm missing? I went back to the mage trainer and didn;t see anything available. And the NPC pretty much walked away with the complete.

Any ideas or is it bugged?

Did you open the spellbook to search for it?

I suggest you open up a ticket. Then go to bed, take a weekend trip to vegas, chill for 2-3 days, come home, nap time, watch some CSI, then check to see if it's been replied yet.

It must be a bug either concerning the quest due to the patch, or perhaps for your personal game, though I have no idea why.

DarkHybrid's got it, open a ticket.

It has been added to the bug list (saw it on mmo-champion) they said to open a ticket and a gm will help you as soon as they can.

The Turtle is a raid drop.

The pig is VERY EASY. Go to Azshara. There is a guy in the middle of the map (He's just north of teh split in the road - before you enter the naga city/town area.) he's the only non-naga in the region, by a campfire...

Anyway - talk to him. He teleports you into the mountains. Follow the trail. You come to a mage in a tower. He gives you quest 1 of 2. Jump off the mountain, run into the naga town (Center of map) and kill the guy in the tower. That guy will drop a shell.

Return to the teleporter by the fire. Teleport to the mountain. Run up the trail, turn in the quest. Accept the second quest.

Run back to the naga town. Sheep the naga. They will remain sheep'd for 2 seconds, then disappear and tiny sheep will run around for about 2 seconds (Before they die.) Your job is to AE the little sheep to death - before they die of natural causes.

You need 50 of them and each naga will from 3 - 5 mini-sheep...

Go back to tele, up trail, talk to mage, get PIG.

That easy! Took me 20 minutes do it at 65.

I had the same problem just a few days ago.

I opened a ticket, but logged out before it was addressed

all I got was a generic in game mail to check my e-mail. Where I found a generic e-mail saying they were awear and are working to fix.

However no spell in spell book.

Is the issue that I wasn't online when the GM addressed the ticket?
Do I open a new ticket?

Fix bug report or ticket I've ever opened in over a year of wow!

The same thing happened to me.

1. place ticket
2. log out because it was getting late
3. find email...

I created a new ticket and they addressed it quickly. Post patches - I guess they just have a lot of issues to clear up...

Never got a chance to post the resolution to this... so here you go.

Placed a ticket to a GM but logged before a resolution.

Received an e-mail to my registered e-mail with the "we are aware, and you are a very important person to us." e-mail.

Logged back in and still no in-game mail. So I decided to just check my spellbook, and sure enough... I had the spell now. So all good in the hood and within a 48 hour turnaround time.

Too bad they just couldn't keep adding a few more spells in there for grins and giggles :P
