Do you really wanna be a tank? Why don't you level up to 70 and go PVP. Forget questing they are useless. Fight PvP in warsong,arathi,Altherac,Eye of the storms and received honor points and medals for participating. Exchange them into Mace that wallops over 513 around 118 per/second or chest lamellar 1.5k armor plate etc. If you don't PvP, I'll guarantee you will not even get closer fighting a mage or warlock. Paladin agility is too slow and by the time you get closer for a kill, you already used lay on hands and die. Tanking is all about plate gear Armor, / mace,Axe, polearms or sword and you can get all of those from SW champion hall. call me!

my vote is still for bamninja. mgolaer is almost there, however.
Okay, here's what I gather:
1) Tanking < PvP

Can I? Please? Thanks, too much fun. From Jack's compendium there, I have gathered the following information on step-by-step processes:
On Eternium Lockboxes:
1) 12+ = good!
2) If a box won't open, destroy it
3) The boxes = easy come
4) Line 3 + destruction = easy go
On trade skills:
1) Sit and wait till your char becomes 70, do not attempt to take any action
2) Save 2000 golds
-a) 2000g = 150 riding skill
-b) Go to SMV and buy a mount-alliance
3) Complete step 2 before digging dirt
Random info on Claw(Rank 7):
1) Talk about Claw(Rank 7), even if it's not asked of you
2) Stable your pet
3) Get a "needle screecher" - Not to be confused with a Needler Screech
4) Register for Claw(Rank 7)
5) Abandon your "needle screecher"
Class choosing:
1) Attain Herb and Alch
2) Create Mage character
3) This may seem impossible, but don't worry - you'll get the hang of it
Completing the "Seek Out Neltheraku" quest:
1) Buy flying mount(see Trade Skills Help)
2) Point at mount's belly
3) Click mount's belly
4) First 3 quests = easy
5) Saving quest giver's mating partner requires 5 players
6) Acquire and become glued to 4 other "loser" and demand they assist you
