I was just thinking.. with the release of Wrath of the Lich King, we (frost mages) would have some problems with the PvE because its all over frost.! Mobs would have high resistance to frost, but we would have some good instances. Isnt that going to affect us and fire (or arcane..) would be the mage's best option? -enjoy frost until nov.

Fire is already the strongest option for large group PvE. I'm sure Blizzard won't make anything unduly hard for any spec.

Just because northrend is going to be a frozen area does not mean that everything will be immune or have resistances to frost. In dun morogh, for example, (dwarf/gnome starting area, which is covered in snow and ice) the mobs are not immune to frost. You can also look at places like winterspring.

Or for another look, most of the mobs in places like burning steppes and searing gorge (excepting fire elementals, which are all immune to fire) most of the mobs there can be hit by fire spells.

Northrend isn't going to be all frozen zones.

It has already been stated by Blizzard, and I found it necessary to quote this post to restate it.
