I am currently a lvl39 affliction talent warlock and was wondering what kinda gear I should go for/stick with. I have been gearing up on purely +stam and +Int stuff so far and was wondering at what point, if ever, below 70 should I go for the +dmg gear.
I was looking at the Defiler's cloth Girdle and Boots for lvl 38 and was wondering if it is beneficial to me getting them? One more evening of AB would get me enough tokens to get the gear as I already have enough points.

Any kind of info would be greatly appreciated as this is my highest lvl character I have.

If this is the highest level you have then that takes away the twink motivation. I'd concentrate on +Sta until you hit level 58/60 (but don't buy it unless what you have is really crappy). Mana pool doesn't matter so much for locks because of Life tap. Once you get to Outland, there is plenty nice gear which will give you good +dmg from quests. You wont have to buy anything. Frankly - buying gear whilst levelling is pointless and a waste of gold. For PVP I'd save your honor and tokens until you get to Lvl 70 and then you can access the S1 gear and actually have enough honor and tokens to get them. You can also hand in excess tokens to get honor too as of Patch 2.4.

Cool thanks for the info. I Will keep the honor and tokens I have for later on in the game.
I haven't spent a great deal of gold on my gear as I did read a while back to not buy gear, just use what you pick up or acquire via quests.
