Now that I see Primal Nethers on the AH, I can make and replace my Fel Stalker Set with the Ebon Set. After comparing the 2 sets, it looks like I will be loosing a ton of Agility in lieu of Crit rating, Stamina and more armor (Gems are not accounted for here since I compare Set/Set minus gems).
Is this "purple" set really gonna benefit me or should I just keep what I have and do more Heroics, and Kara.
If I do decide to make my Ebon set, will this help me perform better in Heroics and Kara? Or even Solo mats farming?
Please enlighten me before I use up my 3 Primal Nethers and all the Primal Fires/Shadows for this set.

I'm not a leatherworker so I never had these, but I took a brief look at them and am not impressed. I'd pass, but I guess it depends on what your alternatives are.
The ebon set is quite good, and will probably improve your performance. It will be replaced during or shortly after kara though, so decide how fast that's going to happen. Also, the S3 chest with vindicator items for your belt and wrists is a better choice as well. I'd instead aim for the new items such as [wowitem=34373]Embrace of the Phoenix[/wowitem] and Fletcher's Gloves of the Phoenix (it's not on alla yet??) They are more expensive but will last you a lot longer.
(Gloves will likely be extremely expensive, but the chest is apparently a rep recipe, so quite achievable)

Chest is a drop in the new 25-man, exactly like (for example) the BoP boots from T5 instances.
I agree with Xsarus. The ebon set is good and all but it will soon be replaced by pvp gear and or Kara gear. I would recommend not wasting your time and money of some good gear that you will replace in no time.

This is what I meant to say, especially concerning S3 and Vindicator's gear (which IMO is acquired in a "more fun" way than farming, but I happen to like PvP and I understand not everyone does). Get Vindicator's and the S3 chest (or try to get the epic chest off of Kael'thas in Magister's Terrace) instead of Ebon.
