World without Warcraft, day 18...

Internet went down on the 4th and my cable company sucks. Haven't played in awhile...about 100 badges worth of time. I'm at the point now where starting up again is going to be weird.

Anyway, once I get back on and re-gem...i'll have just shy of +2000 healing unbuffed.

Respecced elemental to kite striders. Vashj Phase 2 is such a ***** (but kinda fun in it's ****** sorta way).

After a hundred plus [Frost Shock]s worth of button key presses kiting the striders (about 20 plus attempts on Vashj), I managed to get my T5 token.

So YAY! time to say goodbye to crappy T5 enhc 2 set bonus (srsly instant LHW?) and HELLO 4 pc set bonus (woot! 5% more to flurry speed!)

Started working on my level 50 Shaman quest last night at level 52 and ground through level 54-56 Bears and Spiders for claws and eyes in Western Plaguelands.

Drop rate was abysmal, so I reached halfway to 53 by the time I finished, but I could not believe how quickly I could smash through higher level mobs.

Finally got enough gear to start speccing enhancement. I have 5/8 Tier 6 resto set, but I am transferring to another realm where some friends are and they needed a good enhancement shaman. Unfortunately, I had to leave my current guild, but I put in alot of work with them before I left. I gave them a 1 month transfer notice..haha. They had me healing a ton to gear others up. I finally got exalted with the violet eye and now have the "Grand Restorer" ring

Also, my fellow raiders were very quick to CC/dispel the MC on me. Perhaps it's because they are afraid of the WF triple crit with the legendary 2H axe?

:D Thanks. Well I'm 4/5 S4 now just need shoulders but shaman being the broken class that we are, its kinda tough. Will keep updated. Working on wep and maybe shoulders in upcoming weeks.

My 1st real accomplishment as shaman was yesterday. I have 1800 bonusheal unbuffed and I have been healing some kara, normal 5mans and few heroics. Haven't felt too secure before and have been asking some feedback from my tanks and from people I trust in game. This is partly cos most of my gear has been merciless (to get kara starting gear @ 70) and also cos this is my 1st healing class.

So about two days ago we went to Heroic Mgt and I thought it'll be fine since we had really nice group with rogue, Spriest, mage, warrior and me. It was easy run and we didn't have many problems. Yesterday we decided to run again with my rogue friend and tried to get similar group. We got us palatank, mage (health + gear was way behind others, really hard to keep alive), same rogue, Spriest and me. We had some issues all along and some aggro issues on tank.

On 2nd boss we wiped propably 3-4 times before downing him. I really thought that we wont make a complete run.
Arena fight was quite easy and we had no problems there (while almost every pull I was really busy healing everyone and had to use too much LHW). Finally we worked to last boss and wiped ofc since mage get killed on birds easily and tank died in blastwave.

We run back in and rebuff. I give tank Woa to get more threat (also mage, priest and me get benefit),str so more AP for rogue and tank, flametongue for tank, and manaspring. Spriest and mage on birds and quite soon priest dies with mage. I go and drop fire elemental near boss to make some dmg on her. Once again our tank get's killed because did not bubble on blastwave. This was around 40% so now there is only me and rogue left and I almost lost my hope. When I saw tank going down I started giving flameshocks to boss when ever I could. Also put earth ele near boss for some extra dmg and kept firestream down all times. Somehow managed to keep myself and rogue alive all times. At 5-6% during airphase rogue got stuck with all 3 balloons on him and he died. I cast flameshock and chainlightning on boss and gave all I had while healing my tauren butt.

After few seconds I was spamming my button and was shocked when nothing happened... Moment later I realise that boss was giving her death speak and my party was cheering in chat. My hands were shaking and I couldn't believe it. It was heroic after all. Got some really good feedback from my rogue partner and was quite satisfied also myself.

Was hoping for 1H weapon for enha specc but got shoulders so all good. All in all really good run since now I have no doubt about am I capable to heal that place and several others... Thanks for reading fellow shamanistics.

Dear diary, I managed to throw a hunter off the eots flag bridge into the abyss of nethervoid today. I cackled in glee as I watched him fall to his demise. Praise the elementals for the gift that is Thunderstorm.

Dear Diary, I must confess, power corrupts. Today I threw another mage off the lumberhill cliff in Arathi basin. But this was a clever mage, yes he was. Slow fall. But you see, I happen to be fast with my purge button too. Another one bites the dust.

Dear Diary, karma is a *****. Who knew the knockback effect of Thunderstorm can be reflected? Guess the next notch is me :(

I accomplished joining this forum today, that has to count for something, I guess. I only have a level 42 Tauren shaman and I have only been playing for a few months. Did almost accomplish beating down a level 65 Human warrior the other day. Had him down to about 5% of his health when he, and I, realized that a level 55 undead mage was healing me as fast as he was taking it away. He made short work of the mage then finished me off just before I got him. Damn! I thought I was holding my own too. Lol

I'm sure you are right....I'm the noob.
