The shaman accomplishment/news threadFollow

Shaman friend informed me of a 5K+ quadruple WF crit while clearing thrash mobs in SSC yesterday. First time I saw this, I hope I see more.

Got my shammy to level 20, ive only been playing it for 2 days and its soo much fun cant even dual wield or use WF yet!

Hmm I'm not sure what happened, alot of stuff to focus on then. But I think that the only way to have a quadruple WF crit is:

1) dual wielding and stormstrike crits on both weapons
2) WF procs & crits on both attacks.
3) ???
4) PROFIT!!

Congratz man, i remember the feeling when i got my rogue to 58, its so awesome, 58-60 you can easily get in a few hours because of the awesome double exp gained but then once you hit 60 the exp needed doubles :P, and resto leveling isn't very quick in outlands but at least you will always get whispered to heal instances :D

My personal fav enhancement moment was wielding two flurry axes with lifestealing and using stormstrike at the 40s bracket. You wouldnt' believe how many people you can carve up.

Lol wow, no wonder you almost stole aggro off the tank, on another note, do you mind telling me that addon that says Water Shield faded and double and quaddruple WF crit plz.

Topped DPS as elemental for our guild's first Rage Winterchill kill in Hyjal. Surprisingly fun for a number of reasons: fun trash, did it with only ~23 ppl in the raid, and did it despite our guild being pretty casual (albeit most of us are refugees from harder raiding guilds). Glad I had enough honor banked up to snag the PVP trinket (which I hadn't bothered purchasing til that point) as that thing saved me at least 3-4 times during our attempts.

Was a bit confused if the frost cage thing was entirely random or whether it was tied to 2nd on threat or whatever; got retargeted just before my trinket was finished with its cooldown and was wondering if that's just bad luck or if it could've been prevented somehow.

Really wished I'd switched over to my mage for our quick Gruul kill though. Tons of mage tokens dropped and I ended up punted into Gruul because I neglected to hop - where my mage would've been able to escape death (and the slaying of a friendly tank) by blinking away. With recent upgrades and cheating by speccing Arcane, the mage even has more +dmg than the Shaman currently (although it still does a little less damage).

The "water shield faded" mod looks like Mik's Scrolling Battle Text, my preferred scrolling combat text mod.

It's random, so just bad luck. He does target his victim for a brief time before casting it though.

I spent 2400 dkp over the last 2 raids and I'm loving it! Finally playing a character that gets upgrades in T5 raids is pretty fun. T5 pants today, and this on my first T6 kill the other night. All in all, I'm happy I switched mains and I am having a blast chain healing my heart out!

I got to 60 last night =)... but no money for epic.

I'm still wanting to respec to resto right now, but then again I don't want to gimp myself from levelling faster.

Ran a shammy group last night. Had a 66 rogue and 2 67 Full enhance shammies. No need for a healer as 4 maces with windfury did so much damn dps mobs were down within a second or two. Its a lot of fun, highly advise. :)

Solo healed the ZA eagle boss from 38% -> 0%.

(Although we missed the bear mount by 7 seconds. If the mind-controlling trash before Lynx didn't burn my bloodlust, we would have had it.)
