After seeing threads like this on the paladin and the rogue forums I thought it was high-time we shamans got one. Instead of posting new accomplishments, new gear you got, bragging, in new threads, just do it here.

The rules are simple. As I am basically snatching them from the other two threads. No "loling" at what people took pride in, try and act a bit maturely, and keep it clean. or...

I'll start off.

My guild just got started doing doing gruul's as a full guild recently. We have been attempting it before but we never had enough members for a full guild 25-man until now. So we're doing HKM when I aggro mr.fireball, and cast ES on myself, nearly dying. The tank gets the aggro off and that was the only slip in HKM. We down gruul as a full guild (clap). As usuall no drops for me off HKM but gruul drops his t4 piece, but I didn't win.

So... your accomplishment as a Shaman is pulling aggro and then casting Earth Shield on High King Maulgar?

funny story behind that, I was in AV a few weeks ago when someone randomly said "I like my AV like I like my sex." Another person resonded with "With turtles?"

Edit: I'm assuming the rate down is for lack of accomplishment? So mine is I got the shard, T4 gloves, and Wolf's Head Helm on my first Kara run. Second run this weekend, hoping for a few more drops.

Aww come on guys, cut the gibberish talk of sex with turtles and post some accomplishments!

Let's see for mine... I have recently respecced to enhc from my beloved elemental spec. 4/5 of T4, other gears of note would be the DST, Fool's bane and Fury. Still working on getting more mail gear with STR.

I must admit enhc is a...more complicated spec to play than elem. Swing timers to GCDs to abilities CDs... Although I do miss watching my big LB crits jumping on my screen, seeing WF triple crits is equally satisfying.

My greatest AV acomplishment, 58 kills, 2 deaths, and 480k dmg. Over 160k above 2nd place. In a 20 min AV.

As for my build, I'm almost always top dps in bgs and raids. Elemental ftw.

Just got dragon-quake shoulders from curator and the resto gloves from maiden last night.

We want to hear this guys!!! We care (Should) about the other shamans in our community.

I literally solo'd Heroic Kael'thas in MagT from 40% to 6% all by myself. I could have killed him easily, but the other four members all released, so I just decided to kill myself.

Then it happened again on the second attempt and I did solo him for the rest of the fight, about 20%.

I mean, it's not incredibly hard, but hearing my friends cheer me on made it feel epic.

I tanked all of slave pens (normal) with a 70 mage and 64 feral druid. As raid resto spec. It was impossible to kill me, even though my sustained TPS was only somewhere in the low 500's.

EotS 2 days ago: survived a sustained attack by ret pally, 'lock, and rogue (3v1) for the timespan of 3 flag caps until help came. Granted, at least the rogue was horrible (the only planned interrupts were fears and HoJ), but I felt special.

Single-handedly out-healing ALL of the alliance put together in AV.

Got my first piece of T6 (gloves) on Monday! Smiley: yippee

Did AV as level 66 ench. with my average healing gear and was tops in healing. No wonder we lost :( Maybe alli needs more healers

I managed to escape a warlock trying to gank me in Bash'ir's landing & chase off a rogue trying to ninja my mana cells while I'm killing a mob. Does it count?

Formed a 3v3 called Two Pallys One Cup, funny thing is we don't have 2 Pallys. We won 7 out of 10 games, the only 3 we lost were to teams with Rogues in full Season 3.

Got my Battlemaster trinket.

Kited a Warrior thanks to the new Toughness talent, he Charged me, I circle strafed and for laughs I used to Earthbind and Frost Shock and tried to kite him, I was successful and kited him to death, WOOO!

Got a few new epics from kara. Rep healing ring, priest bracers, and healing chest.

Bracers were a big upgrade from my lvl 62 green.

My first time doing chess, netherspite, illhoof, shade and prince. One-shotted netherspite and illhoof. Had some issues on shade (didn't know about standing behind the table). Got prince down to 10% with only eight...we lost two dps on the first enfeeble.

What strat you guys using on prince, generally door strat works out fine for my groups.

he really gets easier as tank gets geared since he is more or less tank and spank except for the infernal adds

ranged and healers stand by the door. Melee and tank by the wall at max range. It normally works easily but one of the melees was new, and the other who died was usually the tank, so he probably just forgot. On our second try, they both died again and we got prince to 10%, but he got 3 crushing blows in a row on the tank (which is pretty rare as the tank should be uncrushable).

The door strat no longer works, Blizzard took out all of the "safe" spots.

We have prince tanked in the same spot, but the DPS and healers go to the middle, so we can avoid the infernals.
