Sry about stupid questions I got, but...
I have read a lot about these forums, ty for everyone, you has been helping me a LOT.
I hitted "finally" 70 and changed from fury back to tanking.
Now I am wondering how in the world I can get in to heroic instances as a tank to get batter tanking gears, because I cannot tank in heroic cos my gear sucks?
I have Armor 12k and health unbuffed 15k. Defence is only: 329 :(
Some epics:
Gladiator's Shield Wall
Gladiator's Right Ripper
Bulwark of Kings
All the rest are blue stuff. Only good items as tank, I have: Faith in Felsteel set(all 3).
All epics are PVP stuff, but best I gould get so far. What next, any ideas what to do next?
I have nice guild, nice ppl but only 3-5 online at the same time. I cannot play that much either, because I am working so much. Thats why I cannot join any bigger guilds on my server, they want guildies to play more than I can.

How on earth can you not have at least 350 in defense? Either you're mistaking skill for rating, or you need to get out and get hit more.

My trinkets and rigs are also agi + str + crit.
Just realized after I read your post that I should get Cloak of Eternity, might hetlp a bit ;)

No, you need 385 defense for heroics. You need at least 350 defense for normal instances though. If you've got the atlas mod you can check out what instances drop trinkets and things that might increase your defense. I know SL drops a tanking trink... think SH does too, but I don't keep everything about instances in my head so you're better off using a search engine.
There are like 8 different ring quests in all of Netherstorm and SMV. You can look there for tanking rings. In fact, I believe some of them are listen in the pre-kara gear sticky. Check that out and you might find other gear you can use.

And I hope at level 70, you would have at least the 350 base defense.

Sorry, I know Im beating a bush here, but you gotta check your Defense again! As everyone says for Kara you need 490 and heriocs are not really much easier. You can get all the gear you really need from instances in normal, then I would suggest go Kara, and give the heriocs a run! Other than your Def, your stats sound fine! I find the Heriocs are more technical than running a raid with a good guild. If the people you are running with are blaming your gear, the truth is really the cc of the group sucks. As a Tank all that can be expected is that you effectively tank one elite mob without giving your healer too much work. A second is a bonus, so you need a really good healer. After that NOT YOUR FAULT! I have found most of the DPS and Healing Class have NO CLUE how a tank should work. They just figure you aggro everyone and shouldn't die! For Heriocs, Complete opposite!!! Your responsible for the one mob that cant be CC'd and that the DPS is targeting, thats it! To those of you who are multi-tanking in Herioc! HATS OFF! Thats is some serious fine tanking!!! If you get complaints after that... leave, find a pug(pick up group) that will appreciate your great work!
Also, to your original concern. YES IT IS A ***** TO GET EPIC'D BY RUNNING HEROICS!!! Its not easy or particularly fun, hence why the new gear with badges! So you can get good gear faster! Try and get set for a Kara Run, even if you run just the first half, so much easier! Oh Yeah the PVP STUFF IS VERY GOOD! All it lacks is DEFENCE RATING! AIM for 490 Defence or close and get the PVP stuff you will be much better geared. Good luck!
PS FYI your stam is much better than mine. Not for long though ;)

To be honest Krullon, you give me some more self confidence(?sry my english) ans did the run last night.
I strted to believe that I cannot tank at all and that my plates area really grappy ones.
Yesterday we had good healer, not pala this time(as it is too offten).
It was really easy to run trough instance(exept that last boss). Time to do some more normal instances and get some mo def rating, then of we go from Kara to heroic :)

You know whats funny! I was in exactly the same postion as you a few months ago. Some pug shot me down told me I sucked and I actually believed them. I went to my guild and said I need some help or I am deleting my character. Please come and go with me and tell me what I am doing wrong. Guess what they gave me a few pointers but didnt complain about what I was doing or my gear and every run was easy! Weird how a great group makes life easier!
I almost absolutely refuse to pug these days. When I do, we run into trouble, and usually these guys are well geared. Yesterday, i was helping out a guildie (lower level) to run a reg dungeon, and we were running into trouble, then I realized why, we had THREE warriors, a druid healer and a mage! both the druid and I were 70s, I was geared well enough that 3-4 mobs could beat on me and the druid could give me minimal heals. But guess what, warrior do what warriors do best be impatient and try and beat on everything. THey didnt give me much time to draw aggro, even the mage was drawing them from me! ME! Group make up means the world, thats why we love this game so much! THERE IS NO HERO!
A good helpful guild will make all the differenc in the world! Ask for help and guidance! I would bet there is an experienced TANK in your guild that has been through the same situation!

Warrior, why don't you tell the thread what your toon's name is and what realm you play on, this way the experienced warriors out there can check out your armory and look at your gear. Would probably help them in helping you out more. =) Just an idea.
