Best Duo for Priest? What Spec also?Follow

#1 Mar 26 2008 at 2:49 PM Rating: Decent
Me and my GF are going to start two toons together. She, for some strange reason, rolled an undead priest. im trying to think of the best class to compliment a priest, so let me know what you think? I've sort of narrowed it down to warrior, pally, warlock, or mage, but any input would be appreciated!

Druid, can't go wrong with a druid. I know it isnt on your list. Give it a try though.

tbh, a priest can duo with any dps, but a shadow priest/tank combo will get you into any group and Spriests can heal every instance till about BRD unless she has a healing set she can go to further instances shadow spec'd

I dont know, I dont really like bringing spriests into 5-mans since they can't do much cc unless there are undead and the mana isnt needed in 5-mans unless you have some crappy geared healer.

Furry is funnier...

To be quite honest, if she is using the priest, then my question is what type of priest. Shadow or Holy/Disc? Why... The dynamics of a Warlock and Shadow Priest are great especially as you begin to get to higher levels. You will be able to deal damage with both classes and Shadow damage is increased, plus you have a pet to offer buffs, CC, or act as a tank when questing. This will make for quick grinding as well.

If you are Holy, then I would go with either Warrior or as a Druid as someone mentioned. You will need someone who can tank effectively at lower levels, and Paladins do not come into their own until later in the game with regards to tanking.

My personal opinion is that mage should be your last option, even though it is a great dps class, you will be limited with downtime and so forth, and compete for the same gear. (With Warlock, you will compete for some of the same gear, but as Stamina is one of your key stats, you can often quickly determine who it is better for in no time. Speaking of gear competing, with a Druid or Warrior you will not have to worry about who gets what gear.)

I think whiskeyduck makes so good points I agree all of them. I would go with druid or warrior probably since level together for entire game. I think those class work at all level of the game.
