Well im about to ding 70 (yay!) and i've seen the new blue PVP set (more yay!) and i'm going to grab it as soon as i ding, (along with my flier and stuff)

I'll keep it until i get my S1 gear, and keep that until S2 is up for honor.

I've checked the forums, and tried to find something in the armory to help, but i can't work out what gems to use..

I want to keep to the cheapish ones (no more than 5-10G per) in the blue/S1, and i'll put some nice ones into the S2 gear)

Should i go with lots of stamina, for survivability wherever possible? grab crit and rack up some crit rating to balance enemy res? get AP and str and hope for bgger hits? i'm completely stumped at the moment.

Thanks in advance for any help :)

If you already have a PvP set, it should have the Sta (survivability) on it. I'd socket Str.

My reasoning is that with resilience negating Crits, and at a higher return on itemization and relation to crit rating on gear, your just fighting uphill with crit rating.

So without crit being a real vialbe option, and you already have survivability included in the gear, str is the next best option.

It really depends on how much survivability you already have. If you just in blues and greens starting out in PvP. Socket Sta/resilience. If you already have 10-11k+ hp and ~100+ resilience, socket Str. Then when you upgrade to a complete S1 set, you'll have much more sta/resilience native on the gear and you can focus on being more burst DPS.

Your role in arena/bg is to keep MS on your DPS focus target first, not dieing second, and then burst dps tertiary. Warriors have a hard time just keeping up with ranged dps, let alone getting in any crits or 2 hits.

This is why many warriors spec mace, for group PvP. Where a 3 sec stun gives more than yourself a chance at doing some extra burst dps.

In 2v2 though, it's a different story. You have to be good at all 3 of your roles in pvp. Which is where sword spec really shines.

Having a bit of a nightmare myself, for a different reason though.

my armory link http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Anachronos&n=Fulcrum

problem is that I've put a powerful earthstorm diamond on the helm, however the gem is showing inactive. If anyone can help me figure out why I'd be very grateful

I don't know, it just might have something to do with you not meeting the requirements for it? You need 3 blue gems, you have 2. I don't know, I might be crazy, but that seems to be the problem. Reading the meta descriptions will work wonders.

Yea after looking it up that became apparent. Sadly such brilliant idea's don't cross my mind after 1am and lots of spliffs ^_^

Didn't help that anachronos server was ******** itself from 11pm English time onwards. Seriously have you ever tried to do AV while being kicked every 3-4 minutes, sooooo tedious

Crit is still very viable to stack in PvP when you get to a certain point AP wise, people are getting brain washed into thinking that it's not. If you don't get enough crit, you're obviously never going to crit in PvP, which makes it kinda pointless. Stack AP gems with Ap/crit and Crit gems mixed in there. You should strive for 1600 unbuffed AP and 32% unbuffed crit in zerker.
