- Regrowth mana cost has been reduced, the new values are (from rank 1 to rank 9):
rank 1 - 80 (was 100)
rank 2 - 135 (was 170)
rank 3 - 185 (was 230)
rank 4 - 230 (was 285)
rank 5 - 275 (was 345)
rank 6 - 335 (was 420)
rank 7 - 405 (was 505)
rank 8 - 485 (was 605)
rank 9 - 575 (was 720)
rank 10 - 675 (was 845)
This is the new Regrowth of 2.4. Will this mana reduction(roughly 20%) now make it more viable? As of now i cant remember the last time i used it.

Combining this with the spirit changes, I can see regrowth being used on a more regular basis. It may still not be the most mana efficent spell in our books, but when you need the extra healing the improved mana regen should do a fair amount to offset the increased cost. Most druids I know are crazy mana efficent as it is and regularly finish fights with half their mana pool. With the spirit changes they will have even more mana that they arn't using so they might as well make use of it.

Is this counting in tree form ?
Regrowth is a nice one to drop on a DPS that gets a bit low while you keep healing the tank. A rejuv or LB leaves them at lowish health for a bit and at risk of dieing if they get hit again. Regrowth gives them a nice bump first.
Bit like a lower rank HT without having to leave treeform.

The spell has always been viable, but situational.
On trash mobs, I've frequently favored dropping the mana efficiency of lifebloom for the ease of throwing a rejuv and regrow on the tank(s) and then dancing while they killed the baddies. Mana generally ended up near full at the end of the battle.
Come 2.4 we have lesser mana cost and more mana regen, I imagine the bar would be full at the end of those battles.
