What (in your opinion) is your dream RET build?
Intent:(Such as Arena, Battlegrounds, PVE)
Talents: calculator
Armor: Set
Weapon: Of choice
Misc. Gear: (such as trinkets, rings, amulets, librums etc...)

PvE (end-game raiding).
PvP (arena).
As far as the PvE build goes, I honstly don't think you could get it any better than that. You could yank three points out of Imp. BoM for PoJ if you'd like, but you really don't need the run speed while raiding, so... up to you.
The PvP build is largely to taste. Most people refuse to live without Vengeance, I personally don't miss it at all in a PvP situation. All good Ret arena builds dip into Prot as their off-tree though for Imp. HoJ and increased survivability.

No no no... I didn't ask for the ret guide. There are allot of diffent opinions when it comes to the details, such as talents and gear. I asked for your opinions of the best possible build including talents, specific gear sets, weapon, etc...

I think you're just trying to do this for fun, right? Not looking for any specific advice... just wanting to see people's opinions of the best ret build/gear you can have.
PvP:
Mine would be all PvP/Arena gear, with mostly Guadion's build posted (sorry mate, I gotta go with Vengeance... 15% damage almost constantly is too much to pass up, looking the build over, I'd probably take the points out of Fanatacism. Don't care about threat since it's PvP, and 15% chance to crit with SoC is alright... but I don't plan on judging constantly, so I wouldnt get as much use out of this as I would Vengeance, assuming I can crit at least once every 30 seconds... and if I can't I would need to be taken out back and shot)
Weapon... stormherald. Extra stunning is nice, and I have access to it so I will use it. Trinket... PvP trinket, and the battlemaster one. Libram.. the one that gives me resil when I judge.
I'll get all that, then I gotta work on getting 0.5 seconds faster to be in the awesome ret category.

i use my current setup for pvp and pve, switch out trinkets and rings accordingly. tommyguns: blades edge
but, like most specs and classes, you cant maximize both at the same time.
im speccing ret tonight. it will be glorious.
gonna go snatch up the new PvP blues, toss some green gems in them and become a scrubadin. Already have some ret epics including t4, which was reworked (not sure how it stacks up now but its the best i have) and gorehowl plus some other odds and ends. Ill probably put savegry on the gorehowl too.
I need honor and i just cannot do it as prot, and ive been doing holy BG for 2 years now.
if it sucks it will only be a matter of a couple hundred gold.

good thing is i found a use for my spirit shards sitting in my bank. the +20 AP meta. also has run increase, but with PoJ that wont mean anything.
Ahh good reminder! I think I have a grip of them sitting in my bank as well as well.
my ideal ret build doesnt exist because precision is in the wrong tree.
