I would like to get some imput from other hunters on what upgrades I need, or any help from here. I've only been playing for a year total and all my epics have come to me over the past 6 weeks.

Why are you using a Khorium Destroyer? That's a tank gun. Go get Wolfslayer out of Karazhan.

This is why I opened up this post, for the help. I'll look into it. I had a guildie make it for me for he owed me some favors. Not a bad pickup with the scope and all.
Am I losing that much dps with this gun compared to the wolf?

He's Marks, so wouldn't he do better with Sunfury? He has stuff from Gruul, so I'm sure downing Prince wouldn't be a problem.
And enchant your gear. You've a few, but you really should enchant every piece possible. Aethien's Preraid Gear List, stickied at the top of the forum, also gives suggested enchantments.
Replace your one green trinket with something blue. The armory offers a 'suggested upgrade' feature. You can use that. Alternately pick something out of Aethien's list. Bladefist's Breath is readily available from a quest in Hellfire for instance. Bloodlust Brooch is better but requires turning in badges. I imagine you've got a stock of those given your gear.
Put a meta gem in that helm. There's only one good one for hunters - Relentless Earthstorm Diamond
Alternately go get the BeastLord Helm or Warpstalker Helm and gem that one. The Desolation Helm, what you're currently wearing, is really Shammy gear.

Yeah, I have a mix/mosh of kara/gruul/ssc gear
I've joined a guild where I hopped into SSC/gruul right away without stepping into kara first. I'm basically catching up with kara right now and filling up some gear slots. I know that's not how it usually goes, but, it happened with me.
I have atlas loot so I know what I have my sights on or want/need. I guess my post should have been what enchants should I be focusing on.

right... so why does a guild let you enter SSC if you dont have enchanted gear? oO

I wouldnt worry about the gun, it'll do more then fine until you get theparrot of flowery doom crossbow of relentless strikes in 2.4.
The enchants however, you need to get NOW.
its a major difference.
meta gem: 12 agi/3%critdmg, +8 hit gem
scryer shoulderenchant: +13 crit
(shame on you for not even being honored... its really not that hard)
Also replace the yellow gem with a purple 8Ap/2Mp5 for meta gem.

24 Ap on bracers
15 agility on gloves, 2x 8 agi gems
2x 8 agi gems in belt
40 AP, 10 crit on legs
12 agi on boots, 8 agi and 4 crit/6 stam gem (or 5crit/2Mp5 from heroic SV)
Adding that up, you are now ignoring a total of:
Agi 71
sta -3
Ap. 32
crt 11
hit 12
Mp5 4
And 3% critdmg, wich with ~24% crit (wich you will be at with the added agi and crit) is:
0.24 x 3 = 0.72% additional dps(!)
You being in an SSC raiding guild and being under 2k AP with kings, MotW and Might is really bad.

Ty for the input aethien. I got into this guild for I had friends that invited me over. As for letting me in without any enchantments talk to them. I guessed I did more than hold my own during application runs in heroics and kara. After playing for one year there are still things that are very new/noob to me. Obviously the enchantments are one of them.
I appreciate the advice and I will work on getting the reccomendations done.

My friend I sat back and pondered the "tone" of the post. I am 38 years old run a mid six figure close to 7 figure business as a doctor. I like to say I'm "with it" so to speak and know what I'm doing. When I read aeth's reply I was like "hmmm I must be an idiot, or no MoS must be an idiot for having me in their guild." Upsettedly gamewise, I must say he does come across a little bit harsh. Does he mean well? Who knows, I hope so. But his information/knowledge speaks volumes. So in essence I will listen and abide.
Gamewise, I am a noob. With my business and two kids I cannot go delving pages into lost posts for information that is hidden, or for information that smacks you in the face as soon as you open it. I come onto here to read and inform myself. I cannot understand why people get flamed for asking questions. In RL I see the same situation in my head as I read posts here. Do people yell and flame at other people just for asking informative/regular questions? As I have said this game is a microcosm of life. Take that for what it is worth.
