Hello all ! I currently use the following macro for my general killing :-

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/castrandom [target=pettarget,exists] Kill Command
/castsequence reset=2/target !Auto Shot, Steady Shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear();

However recently I have noticed that the macro does not activate Kill Command. Am I doing something wrong with the syntax ?

Does it active Kill Command every now and then, or never?

Switch the /castrandom command to simply /cast. It's more mana intensive but it also improves DPS and will ensure a Kill Command every time it's available.

If you're still having problems, put the Kill Command line underneath the /castsequence line. I don't know the ins and outs of if/why this would make a difference, but it's worth a try.

QFT. I use the same macro, and KC goes off no problem. If I'm in the middle of a SS cast when it triggers, KC won't go off until the cast finishes (assuming I'm mashing the macro like I'm supposed to), but it still goes off.

The order shouldn't make a difference. I had it with the SS-Autoshot line first for a while, and I actually switched it because I wanted KC to get priority over a Steady Shot cast. Either way worked fine.
