Name TroublesFollow

#1 Mar 21 2008 at 5:39 AM Rating: Decent
Hey all. I have recently been feeling the stealthy desire to re-roll a rogue. I had a rogue before on my old server. He was level 54. I have recently been trying to decide on a name. All of the names that I have thought of have been taken, mostly becasue I am on a highly populated server. Area 52.
Anyway... I would like any suggestions for a fitting rogue name please. Please make them serious and not grossly immature. Thanks.

name HER "finger"

it implies vulgarity, but isn't ban-able.

I wasn't thinking of anything like that. Something more original.

Go to alta-vista babelfish and translate words like murder, death, shadow, stealth, and the like into different languages until you see one you like.

That's what I did with the prot pally I rolled. I translated "tank" into a bunch of different languages until "Armato" popped up as the Italian translation. And that's what I named my prot pally.

You could always go with Jiraiya, a ninja from japanese fokelore.

Good chance that will not be taken

Hehe I like this.

I called my Rogue Clumpy. A very apt name considering I'm so used to being in stealth I naturally assume I am in stealth in instances and have, on occasion, walked into mobs to sap without realizing I wasn't.

Learn from my mistakes and ignore what Thesleepyrogue says. If you call yourself something like "God" or some variation you might start living up to your name.

Jiraiya (児雷也 - literally "young thunder"), the title character of the Japanese folktale Jiraiya Goketsu Monogatari (児雷也豪傑物語, "The tale of the gallant Jiraiya"), is a ninja who uses shapeshifting magic to morph into a gigantic toad. The heir of a powerful clan in Kyūshū of the same name, Jiraiya fell in love with Tsunade, a beautiful young princess who masters snail magic. His arch-enemy was his one-time follower, Orochimaru, who mastered snake magic.

look past the "animoo" and find out what it was based on, and no i dont watch Naruto.

Great advice, but if you fail at being a good rogue and you have a name like Iamgodofall, how ******* stupid are you gonna feel?

make a blood elf named 'Iwearrouge' and confuse the nubs.

not really. I think names like that are dumb.

Lots of people like JP names because of ninja stories:

The first assassins however, were Egyptian:

People were assasinated long before 1090 AD, lol.

An example:

Just so you know, I didn't get there from your article. Only just realised it linked there.
