At 57 I went to HFP to grind my way to 58 and start the quests there. The mobs gives more XP than the other zones at that level.

Otherwise, in general run instances before doing any quests. Get as high as you can with those instances (Rampart in HFP, then Blood Furnace at 60 or so). When they yeld no more rep, do your quests. You should be able to hit exalted pretty easily.

Same thing in Zangarmarsh.

I didn't do that and I kinda hate the rep grinding I have to do right now to get exalted =)

Good luck!

Forget about reputation in Hellfire Pen and do the quests at and around Honor Hold once you get there. The rewards are designed to get your gear to Outland standard. You'll immediately get a staff, the Jerkin of the Untamed Spirit (chest), Shoulders you can use, trinket (Bladefist's Breath or the tanking one) and a bunch of other things you'll use for a long time.

Zangarmarsh and Terrokar Forest might be better suited to leave the quests for later.

Also what are good spots for me as a level 57 feral to get better gear(armory link in signature)? Thanks again.

Gear wise here is a good guide to get you started on outlands gear.

A Feral Druid's Outland Gear Upgrade Guide

For rep, what nbouchard said is a good general rule of thumb.

As for a reputation guide you can just check WoWWiki for each faction's quests, like Cenarion Expedition or an individual instance like Slave Pens. See right in the top paragraph it says "It will give Cenarion Expedition Reputation through Friendly, and through Exalted on Heroic. An average Heroic run will give roughly 1850 rep."

Personally I haven't run into any good all encompassing guides...because we're all after different things so what I may do another player may not.

Happy Hunting. ^^

The most important one in my opinion, especially for ferals/tanks, is Cenarion Expedition rep because of the ubertanking weapon Earthwarden you can get at Exalted.

The net-net is that there is a mix of quests and dungeons that start or stop giving rep at different levels, so if you do them at the right stage in your progression things go much faster. Read this: http://www.wowwiki.com/Cenarion_Expedition

I asked a question like this a couple of months ago and the best advice I got was to finish every quest in HFP. I also want to add my voice to the Cenarion Expedition rep grind, the only one I'm worrying about as I head to 70.

Since I wanted to do some PVP at 59/60 I studied all the HFP quests in thottbot for my faction (Horde) and found the ones available at those lvls with good leather rewards. As I recall, I was able to get entirely new feral gear for every slot but rings, wrists, waist and shoulders by 60, and the rings and waist came at 61. Also, run the first instance there, Hellfire Ramparts, a few times. A wonderful feral staff drops from chest after end boss and there's a great pair of boots as I recall from completing the main quest, at least for Horde.

Probably the easiest way to get CE rep would be to not do any of the quests from Hellfire or Zanga that give CE rep until after you're honored. Get from Neutral to Honored with Slave Pens and Underbog on normal. After that, start finishing the CE rep quests. By the time you're finished with all the quests, you should be Revered.

You need 33k rep to get from Honored to Exalted, and you can get about 13k of that from quests. The remaining 20k you have to get from SV or a heroic.

You can also turn in coilfang armaments to speed up the process.

Well, there isn't much from other factions that would be considered a "must have" for feral druids. There are a few odds and ends, like a ring from Lower City, or shoulders from Kurenai, but I wouldn't consider those necessary, and most of those are available at revered already.

It's a different story if you want to respec someday. You'd want to be exalted with Shatar (though there aren't really quests) for the healing mace, Lower City for the trinkets... things like that, but you have to see for yourself how likely such a respec would be.

Some great feral gear comes from quests, and you have to take that into consideration as well and sorta plan around that. Manimal's Chinch, Verdant Gloves, Umberhowl's Collar... Those are all quest rewards from different zones and factions.

Actually, they're not. All three of the items you mentioned, plus the Stealther's Helmet of Second Sight which is a nice socketable DPS helm that lasts well into level 70, come from quest chains (albeit complicated ones involving a few 5-man group quests) in Shadowmoon Valley. Only the Verdant Gloves require you to leave the zone in fact, for a partial run into Arc as part of that quest chain.

Just look those quests up, consider that your late-60's to-do list, and plan on spending a lot of time in SMV.

Well I had more pieces in mind when I wrote that post. Like I remember using some green boots from a Cenarion quest in Blade's Edge. You also get the Natasha's line of necklaces up there.

Cool. Just wanted to clarify because there was no "for example" or "etcetera" when you said "Manimal's Chinch, Verdant Gloves, Umberhowl's Collar... Those are all quest rewards from different zones and factions." You must admit that those three quest rewards makes SMV the center of gravity for easily gettable pre-raid druidic tanking gear. Throw in stealther's helmet for DPS and it's a gold mine.

Beyond that there's a great post that breaks down the gear you can use to get ready for heroics and Kara. It was literally my "to do list" from 65-70.

Another thing about the Cenarion grind...

You can buy 360x Unidentified Plant Parts at the AH (I paid like 30g just now with my rogue) and hand them in for the repeatable quest "Plants of Zangarmarsh". This takes you straight to honored (giving you access to the Warden's Hauberk chest piece if you're level 62) and allows you to just complete all Cenarion Expedition quests since the low-level instances Slave Pens and Underbog stop giving rep at honored.

This is by far the best way to get rep for CE, you also get a (slim) chance of getting extra rep from finding a new species when you hand in UPP which give you a small boost into honered, you can do this all at lvl 60. Honor hold has nothing for a feral druid so rep with them is only needed for you heroic key.
