Whats a great set of armor for a mid 30's toon? Quest or Crafted?

The BoP's you'll find in instances/PvP rewards and the BoE's you can find for a few gold in the AHs.
There are other quest items that I'm sure you can find yourself.

Yeah, after the Defias/of the Fang gear there really isn't a complete "Set" of gear until you get to your mid-to-late 50s and can start getting Shadowcraft pieces.
You're pretty much going to want to use the Advanced Search feature over there to the left to just search for blue quality leather with agi on it for levels 31-39, see where they come from, and either run the instance for them or buy them off the AH.
As far as the Shadowcraft set I mentioned earlier, it's totally NOT worth trying to get as Outland greens "of the Bandit" or even "of the Beast" put it to so much shame the Shadowcraft set has been seen in the corner /wristing.

shadowcraft cap still looks gangsta ... but yea outland greens ***** slap the shadowcraft set.
