Increasing ranged crit %Follow

#1 Mar 19 2008 at 1:09 PM Rating: Sub-Default
How do I increase my ranged crit %? I hear people say that agility increases melee crit % but what about ranged crit %? Does attack power have anything to do with ranged crit %?

#3REDACTED, Posted: Mar 19 2008 at 2:03 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Okay, I asked HOW to increase RANGED crit %. I wasn't asking for some dumba$$ reply. I realize crit rating increases it (I can read the stickies) but will agility increase this as well or is it only for melee crit %?

actually your answer is in the sticky

It wasn't a dumbass reply

You can also find this out by moving your cursor over your stats in your character window

This all falls under the 'ole give a man a fish vs teaching him to fish expression
#5REDACTED, Posted: Mar 19 2008 at 2:28 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I said NO dumba$$ replies. You still haven't answered the question. Gourmand, I said no dumba$$ replies and look what you do. Obviously you morons don't know the answer to the question so you are just replying like dumba$$es. lol

Someone here is seriously frustrated.

So tell me, do you really think we're going to give you an answer after 2 people basically turning you right towards the answer?
Not to mention you swearing at people because you fail to understand them/are to lazy to look anything whatsoever up for yourself....

You fail at the interwebz.

Agility
40 Agility = 1% crit
21 Agility = 1% dodge
1 Agility = 1 Ranged Attack Power
1 Agility = 1 Melee Attack Power
1 Agility = 2 Armor

Crit/Hit
22 Crit Rating = 1% Crit
1% Crit = 1% of your tooltip DPS, or 1.3% with Mortal Shots
15.75 Hit Rating = 1% Hit
Note: To prevent misses you need +5% hit when fighting opponents of your level, and 9% when fighting raid bosses.

I thought that I had to keep my filter on never to catch this sh*t. Turns out I was wrong.

Edit: Alcattle got him to sub-d!

Do you think that Blizz would design a ranged class, and not think about the stats? Notice how all endgame hunter armour has agility? Clearly, as the sticky says:

Quote:
Agility (which adds attack power and chance to crit) is number one.

So, I guess because that stat is on every piece of hunter armour, it only adds to melee crit, which hunters aren't designed to do, correct?

Quote:
Where do I view my critical rate?

On your character screen, select the dropdown for Ranged (or Melee.)

Guys, I think we have to edit the sticky so that it only includes melee crit.

I guess that you come here to ask a question, which means that you will trust our answers, which means that you think we are insightful. More so than you, of course.

Jaknak, your failure has made my morning better. Thank you for posting so much in this thread. You see, ratings only matter after 15 posts, and now that you have 17 soon your posts will start at sub-default and we won't have to deal with your tripe any more. Isn't life good?

He's playing you guys... C'mon, when there's a stat called 'crit rating', you'd be inhumanly stupid to ask for a way to increase your crit. If he were asking for ANOTHER way... but he didn't.

Just a troll trying to be funny by posting questions that are retarded. Ignore it.
