You know the quest where you can get the Bladefist's Breadth?
I took the Regal Protectorate thinking that would be good for tanking as I need something to make up for the lack of defense rating Items I have when trying to tank as Arms and it has a Mini "Last Stand" effect when used.
However When I looked at the tanking gear list... I don't see it there. Now I am starting to wonder if I should have just taken the Bladefist's breadth instead...

if u are dead set on going prot then no you havnt screwed up, although you wont use it too long at 70.
once you start kara you will replace it rather quickly.
but if you don't plan on going prot at 70 you have made a bit of a mistake don't worry though if you have had it less than a week put a ticket in and get a GM to swap it over for you.

sadly, their are better tanking trinkets that you can get from questing and drops from 5 mans. while their are only a few dps trinkets as good as the bladefist.
I used the regal prot trinket up tell i replaced it, and it's good to get your 490 defense that way.

My thought's were on getting the Terokkar Tablet of Precision and the Hourglass of the Unraveller also planned on grabbing Abacus of Violent Odds to switch off with Terokkar Tablet of Precision based on what I need.
Would that make up for it or do you think I should put in a ticket. I will be tanking up until Underbog or possibly Sethekk Halls where a 70 Pali tank will be taking over as she is trying to gear up and asked that of my wife and me when she helped my wife with her pali mount quest. (Basically said I have one request of you for doing this. That I will be your tank when you start doing Outland instances so I can gear up to be ready for Kara.) I said cool =D
I made a better mistake, I not only took the regal Protectoratorotorate, but when i was at the vendor, selling greys, i noticed it and thought "Ah! haven't put that on yet" I right clicked it, and didn't notice it was missing for a few days..
lol. I did that to a BoE blue except it wasn't suppose to be equiped.
I was really tired. Just ran Scholo, strat, and DM for the pali mount quest with my wife so I was streight full on invin... Not thinking about the fact that blue item was still in my invin from the grind on mobs for a quest before the instances I sold everything. Woke up the next morning to go put it on the AH before work and said... SNAP!
I had vendored it the night before. =(
