What prof to be for...Follow

#1 Mar 19 2008 at 7:13 AM Rating: Default
I recently started a druid with the idea of becoming an Arena healer.
I can't decide on what prof to take that'll benefit me the most for that, but not ******* all over me if I decide to run as feral every so often. I.e: tailoring for primal mooncloth, but whats it offer for the other end where cloth armor don't cut it? That kind of stuff. Don't really know if it's been answered, cause my search doesn't work, and I didn't see it in the druid FAQ.

Not certain you would gain that much by wearing cloth, leather has a lot of +heal gear, more than Mail or Plate. I would either go 2 gathering or gathering/(dis)enchanting. Better to have the gold then to spend on leveling a profession as you level

Druids have some decent BoP Leathercraft items they can make, but it's really not worth it. Better just to have gold :) Personally, I make quite a bit of money on Enchantring(DE) and mining. I'm inclined to recommend herbalism instead of mining for one reason: you don't have shapeshift out to do it. Doesn't sound bad, but mining can get annoying when you have to shapeshift out every time to gather from the node(or so I've heard). Herbalism would be especially nice with flight form too.

OP did not say but Tauren get racial bonus to Herbilism (+15?) so it might be a factor. You're right you can skin in bear form also, herb/skin and stay in bear/cat for the whole game Smiley: smile
