it rocks! :)

I'm usually a hunter, warlock type (pet class). I've been doing a pally, mage and warrior also as of late.

But the one class I kept starting and not continuing is a druid. I always wanted to love this class and level it to it's full capacity (level 70).

well, Monday I started a NE druid, again... and yesterday evening had her to level 15, almost 16. and She kicks @ss! (work full time so can only play in the evenings m-f)

My standard procedure for hunting is, cast wrath, sometimes Ent root first, then moonfire, then transform to my bear form, and eat their lunch. I'm fighting 4 levels above me with ease.

I think I found out though why I had started and stopped with my earlier druids. The starting area. Honestly, I have 3 Draeneis, over level 30 (2 being in the 40's). I took my newly made druid (after level 5) to Azuremyst Isle and she's 10x's the fun i've ever had...

I plan on having her up to 20 by tonight, latest by tomorrow. :)

As for being on Azuremyst Isle, the rewards are really nice for leather wearers too, as for the money, she has well over 2 gold already, with all spells updated. (and there is a druid trainer by the docks, somewhat inconvenient, but not bad at all)

Yay for druids! I'm glad i've found my groove with them, finally! lol

edit:typo's :)

I also leveled with my Baby Druid in Azuremyst Isle a while back.

I forget the quest chain but there is one where you learn the Furbolg language...or something. Anyway, at one point in the chain you get a swim speed buff to swim down the river chasing a guy. (Sorry about the lack of detail here...at work so I have limited access to resources and it was a loooooong time ago). This buff stacks with the increased movement speed of you Sealion form...I think you know where this is going....

Make sure you have your Sealion form.

Sealion + Swim speed buff = "Holy hell that's fast!!!"

If you are there and doing the quests anyway, check it out.

Ahhhhh... Good Times.

Yes, I know that quest well... it's a lot of fun.

I have done it with my druid though already. So i'm guessing once done, it can't be done again (the Furbolg quest)

End of the day now for me, so I'll be questing with her again soon! lol

btw, was thinking of going mostly Feral (looks like a lot of fun)...haven't spent any points just yet, with a little in Restoration and fewer in Balance. At least starting out and for leveling.

Got my druid to 18 last night... still really impressed with her durability.

Here's a build I was thinking of going. Still holding on to my talent points though.

Only thing is, I was thinking of getting to Omen of Clarity with my first 11 points then start going the Feral route.

She's doing quite well without any allocated points just yet.. I can just imagine how well she's going to do with any talents. :)
