DPS addonFollow

Well, I am finally getting to the point where I care about my DPS. I've always been a very casual player so it just wasn't something I cared that much about. So, what do you use to tell you your DPS?

I did a quick search last night and found a very simple one called CombatGraph. It tracked the DPS of both my pet and I seperately. I'm a LOOOOOONG ways away from any raiding (if I ever raid that is) but just wanted to know where people get their DPS number. Thanks.

Yeah, kind of a long time to raiding for you. Since you are 36 and all. Just read Aethien's Guide and you'll be fine. Your DPS also depends on your spec as well.

thanks guys, will check out recount tonight. I don't even know if I will ever be a raider, just don't have time for it, but I would still like to understand how certain things affect my DPS whether it be gear, spec, etc etc. I figured watching my DPS at an early stage will give me ample time to try out many things on my way to 70.
