Well, after running kara over and over and over, at this point all I really do it for is badges. However in all this time, I have never even fought the Big Bad Wolf, let alone seen [wowitem=28581]WolfSlayer[/wowitem] drop, which is the only other reason I ever went to kara. Well, last night on a random pug run it drops, and I win it. Normally I'd be excited except that the 2.4 crossbow is so much better that I won't be using it for long. oh well. At least it's an upgrade for a few weeks.

I've seen BW 5 times, but have never seen the gun. I'll see it the week after 2.4 comes out, though... Along with the Xbow from Attumen and the Bow from Prince.
It's ok I was hoping for the gun to drop last night as I don't have anywhere near 150 badges. It didn't drop. lol.

I've got maybe 4 drops I care about remaining in Kara, most of them sidegrades. But the WSR would be a fairly significant upgrade over my Steelhawk Crossbow.

hmm, I think it would be situational Irony that I finally get it when It's not really useful anymore. But I'm not entirely sure. It could be just annoying.

It needs a twist for real juicy situational irony!
The older (less simple) use of irony normally needed three elements.
A subject (98 year old man winning lottery after 40 years playing)
A bad event/experience (He dies)
A twist (He dies from inhaling lottery ticket scratchings for 40 years)

I finally got Sonic Spear after running Shadow Labs about a dozen times. It also dropped the very next time I ran the place. I guess this doesn't quite fill the classic example of irony as I still wanted it. ;)
