Aggro management=feign death, maybe mis-directs to help tank get a head start if he really needs it.
Aethien, use http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31868 instead of the green gems. Actually I would Gem that chest with all reds honestly.

I could replace the purple gem in my chest with an 8 agi one, but spending ~65g to trade 2Mp5 and 6 stam for 4 agi on a blue chestpiece, nothanks.

true, I never used blue gems at all in my blue gear.

Allright... I did it.. 2 runs tonight
Heroic mech 1018338dmg, 749.5 dps throughout
Heroic SP 799448, 723.9 dps throughout
I got a couple of boss fights at around 1350dps.
I'm happy ;)
What made the biggest change ? 3:2 macro, that consortium blaster is REALLY awesome for BM hunter. I have about 30ms lag here, so it probably helps me out a lot as it brings my speed to 1.74.
I tried the 3:2 rotation with the recoiless ripper, 3.0 speed and was at around 600dps :(
Ohh, ive got screenshots for both, for the non believers

If he has a low latency, he could actually pull off using the Consortium Blaster quite easily. His attack speed is 1.74, which is enough time to be able to use the auto/steady macro. The main reason BM hunters think that 2.7 is the holy grail of weapon speeds, is that the WSSR is 2.7 and the Epic gun from Doomwalker is 2.6 speed- and we deal with that. 2.4 is actually the REAL sweet spot for hunters with low latencies and quick reaction times.

Oh, I have to make a second post. okay... The 3:2 shot rotation is ideal for BM hunters with WEAPON speeds of 2.8-3.0. If you're trying to use the 3:2 shot rotation with the Constortium blaster, you're really gimping yourself. Plug it into Cheeky's Spreadsheet (Updated March 18th, 2008) and check out how each shot rotation effects your DPS.
If I equip the Consortium blaster, with my current gear, and set it to a 1:1 shot rotation, it shows me about 693 DPS against a Raid Boss. If I change the shot rotation to 3:2, it goes WAY down to 655.
Interestingly enough, though. I plugged in the WWSR with a 1:1 shot rotation and got 720 DPS, but the 3:2 DPS went down a bit. If I plug in the Sunfury Bow with a 3:2 shot rotation, It shows 724 DPS, and the 1:1 shot rotation goes down.
So... It looks as though there is a way to make the Bow off of Prince do a bit more DPS than the Gun.... at the cost of mana efficiency. But hey! It's REALLY great news for hunters who just can't get that damn gun to drop!

Well, its really funny how the spreadsheet gives you those results.. as real life testing for me nets me another 50dps in favor of the 3:2 macro... really weird !

Thats my armory, and I'm using a BM shot macro that I saw in the hunter Faq. Am I doing something wrong to see such low numbers? I'd like to think my gear is better, but obviously not so much by the sounds of it.. I'm not fully enchanted yet, as I've been kinda holding out for a Sonic Spear for Savagery, and I just got the boots lastnight so I haven't put agility on them yet either.
EDIT: I usually far, far outdamage everyone else in the run with me, so that is why I can't quite understand his numbers, or even 850 as was stated later in a different post.

For your Gear, stats, your numbers are in line. With my gear I am able to keep 1k-1100 avg dps in 5 mans. So your numbers are ok, simply from comparing our gear differences.

No offense to your agro management thing but 1st thing you should worry is your dps and of course being able to manage agro on the side. Making agro management a top priority is not gonna make you do good dps. I can maintain 1200+ TPS and able to manage my agro even with mediocre tanks. One fo they keys on trash is to kill mob before you overcome tank. With my dps, mobs die real fast.
