PvP gear vs PvE gearFollow

Folks;

Here's my armory link... I have around 24K honor now. I was saving for the spellblade so I could use Terrok's Saga as my offhand and enchant the blad for a large amount of spell damage, but I've been wondering if I would be better served to get the PvP gear pants + belt to replace my currently sad gear, and get the spellblade later? I will be starting to do Arena as well to get gear. We'll (my guild) be heading to Kara in the next couple of months and I want to get my gear in the best shape possible.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Get the spellblade. All of the S1 set gear you can replace in lower/middle karazhan (except the blade), although some of the vindicator's stuff (silk bracers come to mind) are much harder to replace.

Spellblade first, and I'd recommend getting the S1 Shoulders (Dreadweave). From a PvE perspective they're superior to FSW based on the stacks of hit (12 built into the item and two sockets), and PvP-wise they're great on account of their massive Stamina. Shoulders are about the only slot I'm not looking for upgrades for.

Is it worth getting the Spellblade even if you might not be raiding all that much? I'm referring to the rather low amount of stamina on it compared to the War Staff.

To me it sounds like he's asking which items would be the most bang for his buck if he were to be doing both PvP and PvE. PvP items (comparatively) heavy on a PvE stat are probably the best way of going about this.

So +damage outweighs +stamina when the item is to be used in both situations?

Warlocks have stacks of Stamina to begin with, remember. Some Spell Hit has minor use in PvP but it's absolutely vital in PvE, and a little STA loss is a fair price to pay for that and the Spell Damage.

On second thoughts, you're right. I got mixed up and thought the Spellblade was the one with Spell Hit. The Staff is better for both PvP and PvE, considering the nifty hit and better Stamina.
