Brings out the worst in me.

While I was leveling up my Pally I ran into nothing but Belf pallies. 90% were ret and I showed them to truly fear a Prot pally. In fact one particular Belf pally came to fear me to the point that if he saw me in the zone he would log out. I think I killed him about 25 or more times between lvl 35 and 50.

Well here I am a year later finally leveling up an alt to farm with, a hunter to replace my poor toon left on a RP PvE server. Lo and behold a higher level ret pally tries to gank my hunter.

It wasn't even funny how badly I camped him despite his 5 level advantage over me. Finally the guy must have got upset cause he logged on his mage and came out too play. Polymorph time. So I go get something to drink, come back to the fool still polymorphing me but after 4 minutes he is getting sloppy so, pet stunm freezing trap, aspect of the go fast and the poor fool didnt know what hit him, I was gone quicker than his mother goes down on a bananna.

God I love world PvP and scrub players.

I found that too, I saw (And still see) almost all male BE's are Ret, and a lot of the female (Char's at least :P) are Holy. And to this date I've never seen one that doesn't start with HoJ, everytime I see it I want to reach through the computer and rip their face open.

You guys do realized that belfs are the only class on horde that can roll a pally right?

I have to agree that most BE pallies I see are Ret (pre 70, then it's Holy)... though most Alliance pallies I see are Ret as well, so I don't really know what conclusions I could come up with from that.

One of my BE pallies is Protection (female, main) and an alt BE pally (male) is Holy. It's funny seeing the smallest person in a group of giant cows and orcs twice her size be the one taking the beating from giant beasties who's knees are higher than her head.

They're good for me, because they're a fusion of my favorite class, favorite race, and favorite faction. The behavior of OTHER people who play the same class/race combo doesn't concern me except in that it's more likely that people would want to have me around than them if they're asshats.

..... He is alliance. He hates that my Belf chick tank is prettier than his space cow in plate.

The point he's trying to get across is that Horde are a'ssholes and Horde paladins more so.

Which isn't actually true, I mean, seriously. It's just the a'ssholes tend to stand out from the pack in their idiocy. And let's be honest here, BE paladins were a pretty sucky idea. Nearly as sucky as draenei shamans. They don't even look good.

I hate them more on my rogue because I've never managed to kill a paladin with my rogue. Painful memories of Un'Goro Crater and Hinterlands...yeech.

I just recently started my first Horde toon and was absolutely disgusted by the amount of Ret Paladins. Since my main is a 70 Holy Paladin I did everything I could to convince some of these people that Retribution was not the preferred leveling spec for a 35+ Paladin but that Protection would be the best bet for AoE XP Grinding.

These are some of the responses I got:

"I want to be a DPS Class. Tanking and Healing is boring."

"I can do more damage with Ret."

The best one yet: "Paladins cant tank."

So I end up in a ZF Group with my BE Rogue and low and behold we end up with a Ret Paladin. The Paladin has six levels on me, and is swinging a polearm. The dude would never attack the skull target, insisting on soloing the OT target. We end up with a few additional adds and he refused to throw a single emergency heal on our priest who was out of mana from healing him to begin with. Priest dies while ******-adin is still packing 70% mana.

By the end of the run our damage break down was this.

1. Me - Blood Elf Rogue Level 44
2. Mage - Troll Level 46
3. Paladin - Blood Elf Level 50
4. Druid - Tauren Level 46
5. Priest - Undead Level 43

All I can say is....Ugh.

That would explain a lot, since I was horde on release.

Every BE Paladin (and the majority of BEs in general) tend to /spit /slap /rasp every chance they get, not just to Alli Paladins, but Alli in general. I have yet to meet a Tauren that does anything but /wave /dance /greet me when I pass by. Orcs and Trolls about 50/50, and Undead usually don't do anything but stare mindlessly.

No real point here, but I wanted to say something ^^ I like Tauren, but BEs I'll kill on sight.

Actually, the irony was that at least on my server 99% of the Belfadins were Holy. I mean... they leveled as whatever, but you couldn't find a level 70 Retadin nor a Protadin for love or money until at least four or five months after TBC came out.

After all that time of seeing the Alliance Holyadins (and mocking Retardins), people weren't too keen to roll them... so they didn't.

I find atleast on my server that the horde seem to be the better side, the Allies seem to be a bunch of "unorganized grabastic pieces of amphibian ****" or a bunch of 12 year old Nelf hunters who want to pew pew everything.

After turning my rogue into a raid only toon, i rolled a Belf Pally (currently 55) due to my guild being horde so my only option was Belf. I enjoy the change in paly and i find myself counting the seconds till the raid is over so i can switch over and play the pally. So to all you guys that have played pallys for years, i understand you love for the class, and forgive the horde for we are not all "********"

I haven't had much experience with Blood Elf paladins, but I noticed that after rolling a Blood Elf rogue, there were a lot more people that went out of their way to be jerks on the Horde side than on the Alliance side on my server. To be fair, there are plenty of dummies on the Alliance side, but they mostly keep to Trade chat. I never had to put anyone on ignore before I rolled a Blood Elf. Now in only a few hours of playing, there are 4 or 5 people on my ignore list. Maybe it's just n00b belfs in general.

In no way was i saying you were wrong, i think in large part it depends on the server. Having played over 5 servers both Ally and Horde you can find good and bad on both sides of the fence.
