Diminishing returns with Resilience?Follow

I'm wondering if there is a state of diminishing returns with resilience after a certain point? I currently have 436 resilience, I'm thinking about changing my current enchant on my chest +150 health to the +15 resilience, but I'm wondering if there is some sort of cap beyond which resilience doesn't help anymore.

I don't think that there is a cap, but you probably want to make sure that you have enough damage, resil, and health.

I would not worry too much, with 35K HKs you know more than most about PvP, and your stats look darn uber.

Sorry if this sounds bad, but... why are your arena scores so low? Did you just form a new team or something? My Druid, with around 120 resilience, was less than 100 points below your 3v3 score.

I just figure that a player with gear like yours must have a lot of experience, and I would expect an 1800 rating, not 1500 or 1450 ratings.

Critical strike damage reduction is capped at 25%, so as a mage 492.5 resilience is the cap in that regard. Critical chance reduction and DoT damage reduction continue after this point, but it's not worth stacking resilience for that.

I should be a Guru really.

I belive res caps at 500 atm. You can get more but you don't get a effect for it.

And LockeColeMA... don't compare his arena teams as a mage with yours as a druid. He actually has to work at his.

Keep the bitterness to a minimum, please. I'm trying to eat a banana split, and the oozing of bitterness is ruining the experience.

We never got really serious about arenas. I'm getting ready to get on another team. Also, our server is a low pop server so when I did get to a 1600 rating we started facing teams with 1800 and higher on a regular basis. That got demoralizing. Thats when it went downhill and we just started doing our 10 a week to get points. We haven't even done any arena in about 3 weeks. I'm getting back into now. I decided to just pay for to switch from frost to fire for raiding and back again for PVP. I don't have enough time to lvl anothere alt to 70.

the damage reduction from a critical strike is capped at 25%, which equates to 492.5 resilience at level 70. However, there is currently no cap on DoT reduction or critical strike chance reduction.

fire mages in arena = advanced target dummy

have any of you ever seen one on a 1800+ rated arena team. If they are they certainly are not one of the core players for that team.

Crit chance reduction has always been capped at 12.5%, which is why the crit damage reduction is capped at 25%.

I don't know about the DOT damage reduction.
