Thanks to thread a few days ago I switched from combat maces to shadowstep.
Last night in Kara I got Spiteblade drop.
So my question is as 20/0/41 I lose the weapon spec talents so it's my choice.
My options are Dragonmaw/S1 OH maces
Spiteblade/Blinkstrike/S1 OH swords.
currently both maces have goose as does the BS.
What combo of weapons do you recommend for arena (20/0/41)
and would the mongoose on the MH mace make cmbt maces the better raid choice over cmbt swords until I can enchant Spiteblade.
I know I could get S1 MH sword but mentally I could not grind the honor and badges right now so that would have to wait.

hey guys just curious as to waht you think. I have groun the mats for another mongoose if I want it. Another wrinkle is I have 4/5 Vengeful (no shoulders) my next arena buy could be Vengeful thrown, Merciless shoulders or Merciless OH mace. I currently have high bid on Spinesever thrown so that could a little in PVP until I get one of the others. Here is current link

To be perfectly honest, I would go near a raid with Shadowstep. It might be convenient for fights like Gruul and Prince, but you'll put out much more damage with a cookie cutter 19/42/0 build, or even a 16/45/0 mace/sword build.
As for PvP, since you don't have any weapon spec talents in 20/0/41, use the weapons with the highest stam and dps. I'd recommend maces, if only because the haste proc on Dragonmaw will absolutely wreck people.

Hmm. ShadowStep to raid with. Okay: Don't. Go back to Combat, preferably cookie Combat Swords. There's about ten thousand threads listing it on here. Shadowstep is for PVP.

Well, on my server, EVERY T6 raiding rogue is shadowstep. In the last few weeks i have not seen a single combat rogue in T6 content. Shadowstep must be viable or they wouldn't be doing it.

ShS will never out DPS combat, ever.
BTW: They respec for raids to combat, then spec back. 50g isn't a lot of money.

Or they have got all the 'phat lewt', and just farming the content now, so don't need the extra dps.
Just to be clear on my original post I said

I am 20/0/41 most of the time arena, Bg, world PVP, quests, daily heroic with my guild who doesnt care
When I raid Kara, ZA, or Gruuls I switch to 17/44/0 or somthing simular. The question is related to which combat spec I should go. I have Dragonmaw/S1 OH maces both with mongoose for combat maces or Blinkstrike with mongoose/Spiteblade (no enchant)/S1 OH (no enchant)for combat swords. Is the extra damage from Cmbt swords worth paying/grinding for double mongoose on the swords or is Combat maces the way to go for my current gear situation.
Just to be clear I was never raiding as ShS just asking when I respec to combat for the raid which setup is better with the weapons availible to me.
