Best combination of potions+foodFollow

#1 Mar 13 2008 at 1:05 PM Rating: Decent
I was wondering and tried some food/potions combinations but i was wondering what still the best choice

i guess everybody agreed that relentless assault if the best choice of you have extra cash
but what about food? spicy talbuk = 20 hit rating, warp burger = 20 agi and ravager dog = +40 attack power

which one you all think would be the best combination?

and about regular potions/elixirs, would you use onslaught = +40 AP or major agi = 35 agi + 20 critstrike with which food?

cheers everyone

For raiding, Spicy Hot Talbuk and Flask of Relentless Assault are the way to go, unless you're doing Gruul's Lair where you can use the Unstable Flask of the Bandit.

Spicy Hot Talbuk will be a larger DPS increase than either Warp Burgers or Ravager Dogs.

As far as normal elixirs, Major Agility blows Onslaught out of the water. Heck, Elixir of the Mongoose (a pre-TBC elixir) is better with 25 agi and 28+ crit rating.

Covered in the post above yours.

You should be using flasks for raiding, though. It's cheaper.

Flasks are cheaper on progression nights.

On farm nights, elixirs come out to be a little cheaper but not quite as effective.

As an elixir alch, I go with the Elixir of major agility personally and whichever food came from the cooking quest of the day haha.

I won't pay for flasks and I'd rather sell the mats than waste them on myself. Terocone and Felweed is ridiculously easy to come by.

Ditto on the BEM flasks though, shame we don't do gruul's that often.

What does that have to do with it? Elixir-spec'd alchemists also get procs on Flasks. That's how I actually make money by selling my creations than simply the herbs.

The way I seem to proc, it never happens on Flasks and always seems to double my elixir output. Maybe just bad luck on my part....
