Ok, so I nosed through the stickies and didn't find my answer.
I also know that with simple math, I could figure this out. But it is 5:00 in the morning, and my brain is working at the speed of a 600 pound man getting up to answer the phone.
So I'm praying that someone would be kind enough to figure out and post the answer to my question for me, and that I'll be able to see it when I wake up.
Given 5/5 in Sinister Calling, 3/3 in Aggression, and 1/1 in Surprise Attacks, what is the minimum main-hand damage needed for Hemorrhage to overcome Sinister Strike in damage per strike? And, of course, I do know you can't have those three talents at the same time, this is a theoretical situation placed to determine the answer.

as far as i know, hemo on its own doesnt do more than SS. the advantage to using hemo in longer fights is that it debuffs the mob, costs 5 points less energy, and allows everyone else to do slightly more damage.
if fights lasted 5 times longer than they do now i would say hemo would be incredible since it increases everyones damage by a ton, but since fights dont last that long im not sure how much better it is. i think if combat swords and daggers is max damage, someone said that hemo (harp build) is like 9% less damage overall on average.

Nobody raided with HARP.
They raided with a trispec 11/26/24 type spec. Those numbers may not be exact but I don't remember the exact talent breakdown.

SS = (WeaponDamage + [(AP/14) * 2.4] + 98) * 1.06 * 1.10
Hemo = [(AP/14 * 2.4) + WeaponDamage] * 1.20
Set them equal and solve.
