Hey!
i guess the most common disc/arena build is the 43/18 build. Theres a few primary things in the disc tree that is "necessary". Of course pain suppression is needed and focused will is great. Then after that you do what you like. I got reflective shield and imp shields, but some priests do neither. Its your preference. Silent resolve and absolution are talents that almost every priest have different amounts of points in. Its based on what arena you play and what fits more of your style. Good luck and hope it helped!

I am just now getting back into the Arena game with my priest, and I am going with a build like this...

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/priest/talents.html?5052310130005120501000235050031320102000000000000000000000000000

I am not sure how it will all work out, but it something I wanted to try to still allow for decent damage in PvE when solo or with one other. It is missing some of the talents that some say are required, but I like the free smite's for a boost to damage, and the power infusion when thrown on the Druid or Paladin that is normally in one of my Arena teams, it works very well to get some huge heals or damage bonus.

That smite spec is rly bad for arena. Copy that tree from the armory imo. You will survive much longer.

Everyone, do not listen to me... smite spec sucks, but then a priest in 2v2 kind of sucks... went back to shadow as it is just more fun for me.

Just thought that I would rate up Chosenorc for his comment.

I have just started speccing discipline for 2v2 arenas over the weekend. I play with a felguard spec lock, and have already seen drastic improvements in our survivability.

Since I was switching from primarily shadow pvp gear my +heal isn't quite up to what it should be. Maybe 1300 or so at the moment in mixed pvp damage and raid healing drops. So I came up with this for arenas and have been using it for a few days now. I think it works quite nicely, anyone have opinions on possible changes?

Edit: Just remembered our last match this evening. Was 2 rogues. My warlock got out of line of sight while I was blinded so wound up dieing with both alive with 1 at 30% the other at 70%. Since I'm mostly wearing the damage pvp gear I still have around 800 spelldamage bonus. So I managed to kill them both just by healing and shadow word pain. I swear to god we almost laughed ourselves to tears, thats the sort of thing that make arenas truly worthwhile.
