ok, I'm starting to fall in love with my hunter. First I asked a guildie to let our pets duel, I had a 27 cat, he had a 28 boar and my little kitty won.
That got the taste of PvP in me so I level up to 28 and try my first BG. I never touch the 19's b/c of all the twinks and usually just try one or two in the 29 bracket. The first Warsong was amazing. I Died 1 time with 25 HK's (12 killing blows). With the combination of traps and consussive shot, I could kite those rogues/warriors all over the place. And a side note, we (alliance) actually won????? I was 2nd in damage behind another hunter.
Loved it so much that I entered a 2nd BG which consisted of a premade horde twink group vs my alliance with 5 out of 10 people between level 22-24. Needless to say, that didn't go so well. Why people enter BG's at such a low level I will never know.
In the end, I was surprised at how well a hunter can do in BG, they never really scared me before on my other toons (mainly my lock and mage). Sure they would kill me sometimes, I would kill them sometimes but it wasn't ever one sided enough to cause fear of the hunter. Well, I'm off to watch some PvP videos now....I'm hooked.

i know whta u mean, when im on my lock or warrior im not scared of hunters at all, but on my hunter i have no problem taking out either.
i think its jsut a case of believing you know your class better than your opponent and if you are confident of your abilities a lot of people around your level will have problems taking you down.

I will whole heartedly agree with that. If you think to yourself "This dude is mine" I find you usually will win, lol. Unless you're incredibly outgeared, and even then that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Your mage will fear hunters at 70, hunters completely rape mages there :P
well thats ok i dnt plan on getting my mage taht high,
why would i want medioker(spelling?)dmg and be a vending machine/travel agent for the entire world...of warcraft

oh I love my mage, just all my stupid friends started playing on another server as alliance and my mage is horde!! But the hunter ain't too shabby thus far.
