I was looking to get into Kara and some heroics, which would you guys recommend I head to first?

Heroics until you get 102.4% avoidance (you are currently at 87.21%). Try getting some more block rating, because that will boost you up the fastest. For gear suggestions, read the Defense and Mitigation sticky on the top of the forum.
To be fair.. you still have Instance-Quest Blues, Regular Instance Drops, and CRAFTED pieces that would be major upgrades in some places.. I'm talkin head, hands, belt, feet, and rings. Starting with the simplest things to get will get you a fair bit of the way to uncrushable AND it will let you gem for Stamina more than Defense, because you're a little on the low side for HP. There really isn't a BIG need to hit the heroics to gear for starting Kara if you pick the best of everything available before that. Of course, the badge loot is great to upgrade into as you go.
But yea.. your gear level is "okay" for starting the easiest of heroics if you're with a solid group and know what you're doing well. I'm a lenient person about gear, I know some people who wouldn't even give that a second look because of Green items, and several low-grade Blues where there are actually Green quest rewards that outperform them. I'm sure you're a competant player though, so that alone would make up for a lot of that.
In addition to the FAQ on this forum, the Maintankadin forums ( http://www.failsafedesign.com/maintankadin ) has an entire forum and several stickies on different aspects of pre-raid gearing, 2 of which pertain to attaining uncrushable.

Since we're on the topic...
I had heard "geared for kara, geared for heroics" and the converse "not geared for kara, not geared for heroics." I would agree with Losie in that decent gear is available without running heroics. Heck, I got all mine sans Heroics. (OK, I sneaked in a few runs and got my Libram of Repentance eventually but that was all! :)
So some specific gear ideas? Felsteel Helm and Gloves. Although for gloves, what you have isn't bad. Waist could be the one from the Arc key quest series, kinda long, but worth it.
Good choice in weapon, throw a +40 spell damage enchant on it for sure. Shield is good, but Shield of the Wayward Footman could help with being uncrushable.
Also, your stamina isn't horrible, but more is always good. anywhere you see a blue gem slot put in a Solid Azure Moonstone(Star of Elune if you can afford it, but you could wait til you get even better gear for that). It seems you've got some good ideas though. Nice choice for the Enduring Talasite. They're pretty cheap (15g on my realm) so certainly not a bad gem to use.
There's more but as mentioned the "Maintankadin" forums are great. In particular, I found this thread helpful. Not the only way to do it of course, but a nice springboard for sure.
