The thing is that once you get past Kara +healing truly needs to be taken into consideration with A) Spell Crit and B) MP5. I have seen people with 2100/2200 +heals but they have sh*t all for regen.
One example in particular that I like is a fellow Draenei Pally who was quick to point out that he had more +heal than me. So we sat down and started healing each other in IF one day. He went oom, sat down and drank, and went oom again and I was still at 20% mana. It became apparent I have 10% more spell crit and 20 mp5.
Massive +healing is great, but if you have 15% holy crit or 80mp5 then you are shooting yourself in the foot because your stats are unbalanced. I am seeing lots of pallies making the same mistake and putting +heal before regen and they are failing for it.
Bodh, as one of the more knowledgable and progressed pallys around here, can you give me any advice? My guild is currently preparing to tackle Vashj and Kael, (Vashj first I think) so I would like to make sure I have the right stats to maximise my effectiveness.
Is there anything you would change with my gear/gems/enchants etc.... I'm thinking that my regen may be a little on the low side but not sure if it's worth sacrificing any +heal or crit. Do the mechanics of the fight favour any particular stat? FYI, I normally take flasks or pots for mana regen and Int. (just in case you are wondering about the mail chest I'm wearing... that bloody Chestguard of Hidden purpose from Eagle Boss in ZA doesn't seem to want to drop >.< ) I also may have logged out with a different weapon =/ normally use Shard of the Virtuous with the +81 heal enchant.
Thanks
