OMGWTFHAX macroFollow

I'm holding a sword in main-hand and a dagger in off-hand. Im looking for a macro that will swap them so I can "OMGWTFHAX!!!"-pwn clothies with ambush and backstab (I love those cute little warlocks). I know, I know "Go look in the macros guide, you stoopid nub-cake!" but the wealth of knowledge here seems to be overflowing, and frankly I'm too lazy to try to write my own macro. So how bout passing me some of that sweet uber-l33t advice I see floating around here?

Allow me to clarify, all ( /equip <item name> ) macros only seem to work if the item is in one's inventory. If I try to /equip a weapon that is already in my off-hand, with the ultimate goal of moving said weapon into my main hand, nothing happens, because it is already recognized as being equiped, just not in the slot I desire. The ultimate goal is to switch my off-hand weapon with my main-hand; meaning two weapon equips, but have them share the same global cooldown. Is this just not possible and I need to carry a spare dagger in my inventory?

To pinkbullet: I stopped even reading the O-boards after just a few visits, and your link didn't tell me anything I haven't seen elsewhere

To GodOfMoo: Why even bother? Whats the point?

I used to do the exact same thing that you are asking.
Now I have 2 swords when unstealthed... still the same idea.
Well...for the same reason little squishy cloth wearers. ;-)

And quite frankly I don't know how to write a macro for WoW soooo.....

I use mirage UI and it has a handy little peice in it called OutfitterFU.

You can set it up to change your weapons/armour/trinkets/ what have you when you stealth and unstealth.

And yes it will move OH dagger to the MH for you....

An add-on named ItemRack is exactly what you are looking for. I used it on my twink rogue til I went exclusively for a Backstab build. :D

I'd guess (and that's all it is) that you'll need to specify the slot as well as the weapon. Something along the lines of:

/equipslot [conditionals] <weaponname>

Or something like that. I have not tested it (nor intend to) or anything. I'd also guess that the first equip will dump the old mainhand to the backpack, but things like this are usually kinda buggy. You'd probably be better off rotating three weapons or using an add-on.

But, seriously, it's not all that hard to look this stuff up. So you shouldn't be surprised by a negative reaction to a post asking others to do the work for you.

I like Combat daggers for PvP, it's nice when BS crits.

I've never tried anything else for PvP, though.

I, too, prefer a BS build for PvP. It required the user to position themselves beside the target but the Damage output is greater in my opinion.

Plus, CS ->SS -> SS -> SS -> Evis is boring to me.

I can't tell whether you got my sarcasm or whether it went just way over your head.
