I'd guess (and that's all it is) that you'll need to specify the slot as well as the weapon. Something along the lines of:
/equipslot [conditionals] <weaponname> Or something like that. I have not tested it (nor intend to) or anything. I'd also guess that the first equip will dump the old mainhand to the backpack, but things like this are usually kinda buggy. You'd probably be better off rotating three weapons or using an add-on.
But, seriously, it's not all that hard to look this stuff up. So you shouldn't be surprised by a negative reaction to a post asking others to do the work for you.
