Survival of the Fittest feral talent questionFollow

I am currently a level 64 feral spec'd night elf druid machine with a +31% crit chance:)

One question about the Survival of the Fittest spec under the feral tree...

If I put 3 talent points in Survival of the Fittest, does "Increase all attributes by 3%..." mean that it will give me +3% crit chance? Just wanted to know if I should put 3 talent points into this when I respec.

Thanks!

Crit is not an attribute. Therefor it will not be increased by SOTF.

However if you are going to tank or off-tank come endgame you will need to put the 3 points in it.

edit... actually since SOTF will raise your agility your crit should increase. wont be anything major but it should be something...

Thank you for your input....and since my agility is currently at 322, the 3% increase to the agility attribute will give me 9.66 more points to agility. Not alot, but it will work! Plus it will give me +str, +sta, etc.

In Cat form your agility is added to your attack power (1 agility = 1 attack power) and you also get 0.88 crit rating per point of agility, meaning the extra 9.66 agility will increase your attack power by 9.66 and your crit rating by 8.5.

As said, it's not a lot, but the talent is mostly useful for the reduction in incoming crits. The +3% is just Blizzard's poor attempt at making it scale.

The main problem is still Predatory Strikes. It gives us 105 attack power or so at level 70 and it doesn't scale with gear (as it scales with level). They need to change that.
