Fire does more damage but then Frost can freeze the mob and such. Are the improvements to the Frost spells from the talent tree so importent so that they become unusable if I specc Fire?
I dont know if im going to respecc to fire, I still want to do some PvP though.

in what level range are you talking about? for leveling?
for leveling I loved being frost, had nice survivability, I AoE ground for a bit, and the shatter crits are great.

I was fire to level 20 and then switched to frost and it stayed that way for a long time. I still switch between fire and frost, probably once a week. Frost for dailies and pvping and fire for raiding. It will be nice in 2.4 when we don't have to learn new spells over and over again. I wonder how much I have wasted.
