I had spring break this past week so I decided to make a push and finally hit 70 with my Mage. This is my first 70 and I'm new to late game stuff so I'm kind of lost.
Question: Where do I go from here?
I've run Ramps, BF, Underbog, Slave Pens, Mana tombs and Sethek Halls once.
I know my gear is bad, and that's why I'd like to get started improving it, so if anyone could give me a little direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Do you plan on getting your epic flyer? Cuz if you do then so much for raiding. Your only option is the honor grind and welfare epics.
If you do like to raid then hear me out. First thing your going to need to do is drop one of your skills and pick up tailoring. Can you get ok gear without it??? Sure you can. Can you farm for a few weeks and have a T4.5 set without tailoring?? Not a chance in hell. Yes, it is that good. Get it, lvl it up, and get the spellfire/spellstrike sets. Probably going to run you thousands of gold when your all done (hence.. no epic flyer). After that get the vinidi 3 peice, Either the mindeblade or the sword from gruuls, and some rep trinks then your off to SSC/TK.

Can I just say WOW? +890 Bonus Frost Damage, 4083 health, and 6161 mana.
"Start Tailoring" is a good idea.
I still think that a basic set of Imbued Netherweave Robe, Pants, Boots, combined with Bringer of Death, would help you a lot.

Wow indeed. Trust me on this, OP, if you're serious about anything, lose the "Frozen Wrath" gear. Or you'll find yourself dying a lot in PvP or instances. Also, if you're halfway decent at grinding gold(especially with mining), an epic flyer shouldn't take more than 2 weeks if you focus.
