Blizz should fiz FelguardFollow

#1 Mar 07 2008 at 5:00 PM Rating: Default
Once, I went to solo Scarlet Monastery for some reason, and there i aggroed a bunch of mobs. So, with Felguard tanking like 2 or 3 mobs, I turn Cleave on, so he holds aggro better and inflicts more damage. And then...

Shaatom's Cleave hits Rat for ... damage.
Rat dies.

Why the heck does the cleave hit critters??? The Felguard has 3 enemies on him! Surely he doesn't think the most viable option is to direct the Cleave towards a bloody rat!
It would also be good if Cleave stopped hitting neutral mobs at all so they don't aggro when you cleave...
Fix this please, Blizzard!

I agree, the Felguard needs excessive fizzing.

Fizz like soda pop even.

Woops, now Locks are the superior softdrink!

Hmmm... not sure it's so minor... It might get you killed if the cleave with which you intended to aggro 2 mobs hits a critter instead and the mob goes beat you up.
Of course there are worse issues than that. But still... softdrinks??? LOL!

Mountain dew is the nectar of the gods.

All AOE and multi target powers will hit all viable targets.

and critters be viable targets dontchya know.

And blizz did put in a fix.

I call him one eye willy and he be a sleepy fellow. But when critters are about to ruin my multi shots..BEWARE!

If the felguard was broken, other classes wouldn't complain about us. Don't fix what ain't broken.

You're a warlock, you're evil, you should WAN'T your felguard to nuke critters! In fact you should make a macro for targetting critters and killing them with your felguard.

While you're at it you should make it your mission to figure out what is the maximum possible number of dots you can put on a critter before it dies.

2, if one has a cast time and the other is instant. Maybe 3 if you lag for a sec at the right time.

In 2.4, Cleave will at least no longer hit CC'ed mobs as secondary targets.

I'm with Loki on this one, Dr Pepper FTW...

Also a hunter's multishot hits critters as well. Less critters = less disease

LOL

If that's true that REALLY takes the skill out of controlling your FG. And will allow others to REALLY take the p*ss out of us Demo 'locks.

"Noobguard!"

Intercept --> DotDotDot --> Death

"Noob that, you c*nt."

Diet Felguard FTW.
