But i dont want this to happen with this shaman, so tell me what you do if u ever feel like ur getting bored or frustrated with your shaman to get you to love it again. Thank you.

Past 49, whatever you do, DONT PVP. It sucks.

What I do, it I instance, alot, and experiance that alot and get some great gear and have fun.

Lastly, if you get bored of a character after 10 levels, then its not the character for you. First go for race/sex then your favorite class, if you don't like what your looking at, your not gonna play. Heck, if you keep getting bored, WoW might not be the game for you.

(It's not in my sig, but I have a 65 shaman, recently, I respecced him Ele from Enhancement for a bit of a leveling boost, but thats not really viable until 62+ for water sheild.)

You're in for a treat...at 20 you get ghost wolf, at 30 you get windfury, and at 40/41 you get storm strike and dual wield. It's fun to get a storm strike windfury crit with both weapons...one shot, one kill. Also, when I was leveling I would switch specs between Enhance and Resto. Enhance for leveling and Resto for instances. That kept things interesting.

Ele truly becomes viable at level 62 when you train Water Shield.

Before that ele shamans have the problem of poor mana regen and having to stop to drink all the time.

Once you get Water Shield, if you keep mana spring totem down you've got 100 MP5 when not getting hit and Water Shield gives you ~720 mana every 9 seconds if you keep it up constantly.

Maybe thi is just me but i've never had the mana regen problem. just the problem of having to use caster cloth until 58 when i did start getting caster mail. While all the cool enhancement shamans were out using herods armor like the big boys, i was but a lowly clothy.

It's just you.

I floated back-and-forth between Elemental and Enhancement between 58-62 and Elemental without Water Shield is just an embarrassment next to Enhancement. It's only four levels, better to just ride it out.

Well I just think some of you are impatient, kill 4-5 mobs, drink for 7 seconds, repeat wasn't bad at all for me.

Here is the problem Draenei, with Shamanistic focus and rage by level 40 shaman has no down time as a enhancement shaman.

Also as far as gear leveling it is much easier to find melee dps gear, lower level caster gear lacks raw damage and generaly so you really never have enough to scale as well as rogues, warriors, and other melee classes.

Not saying leveling as an ele shaman is bad, just harder then leveling as a enhancement shaman.

I personally leveled enhancement, this was back when ele had no viability until level 60 for pvp.

If you want to level your shaman a certain way, this goes for anyone wandering, do it.

Your toon so have fun, I will say yes enhancement makes leveling pretty easy, but if you made a shaman to be a Caster, or healer, go for it if thats what you wanted. but I also want you to know, enhancement is considered our leveling spec because it is, but doesnt say you have to.

just like pallies have ret, warriors have arms, demo for locks, beast mastery huntards, shadow priest, etc etc...

btw Mistress Draeneipally you forum alot huh, 900 posts and I swear to god you just started lol.

As long as your having fun

Im not sure. As elemental, I've never had a problem with mana. You just need to spec it and watch what you drop. Delay from dropping magmas and novas, along with reducing your chains and you'll be fine. Keep your shocks at rank 1, unless your like me and you use eshock for a quick kill and you'll have all the mana you need. Even now, when i'm highly geared with 8.4k mana, I can go through almost the whole prince fight without using a pot.

it is not so much as it is a problem, more so that it is a fact, less down time will make you level faster as an enhancement which has very little down time once you hit 40, better scaling items (even if you use cloth doesn't mean there is much +damage at lower levels)

I still say play the spec you desire, at lower levels shaman can fill in just about any role regardless of spec if needed (spot healer, off tank, or dps)

benefit to being ele is in 5 man setting if needed you have the extra mana to off heal if needed as well as be the primary healer if your healer dies or DC.
