No other warlock nerfs are planned for 2.4.

Translation: We're out of ideas. We've listened to what every class had to say to ***** about locks and we've just run out of gas. At this point, if they're OP, there's nothing we can do but ***** them in WotLK.

There is no Lifetap change. It was removed yesterday.

yes, i've already posted that on here before everyone else :P, just simply pointing out that blizzard could find ways to nerf us in the name of 'change/buffs'

Yes, but for now they're out of ideas.

No other changes that they are going to tell us about.

Being that they were looking at a change that serious, I find it hard to believe that they suddenly changed their minds and decided that all of a sudden we were balanced.

I think there may be something in the specific wording: why not just say no other warlock CHANGES?

See THIS and THIS, in the game files on PTR. Maybe some nice goodies planned for 51-pointers, or maybe, just maybe, actual PvP BUFFS in 2.4 as opposed to nerfs?

Or maybe I'm just an insane conspiracy theorist. *giggle*

i hope that a mix of all the theorycrafting + whining of locks affected their decision. also that like over 1000 locks 'supposedly' canceled their accounts due to this change (big old post about it on US and EU forums)

Some of the WotLK stuff is starting to leak out, same way it did with BC. They are starting to release the files through the patches. I would say either new talents or something to do with the new inscription trade skill. Looks a bit to powerful t be trade skill related though.

Not sure about the EU boards but on the PTR forum their was over 6500 posts about the changes. This is just the PTR boards, not including the actual class board.

Original change - 2885 posts

Revised change - 4000 posts

Seeing as WotLK is looming in the horizon and since raising the lvlcap to 80 will probably mean that there will be some development in the talent trees of all classes, I bet Blizzard has decided to drop the nerf for now and tinker with these talents instead.

I bet that while we will be improved (so everybody goes on droling about the new top talents), everybody else will be improved much more. This would effectively be a nerf, but in a polite way.
