I recently rolled my 4th Hunter, and went through the dilemma of what pet to get this time. A little back ground on me. I like to have those pets that no one else has, and serves a purpose besides looking cool. Looking back after the ordeal, I thought about what I had to go through for my other Hunters.

My first Hunter was a Tauren. I started her just after BC came out, and it only seemed right to have a ravager. But not just any ravager, I had to have the Death Ravager (no longer tamable). I hid in the water nearby and waited for a warrior to start his quest, killed him, tamed the ravager and hearthed before he knew what happened.

My second Hunter was Draenei. I needed something special as well. I made my way to the Barrens. Having played horde before I knew exactly where I needed to go. Echeyakee. Again I hid in the bushes and waited for an unsuspecting Hordling to come by, and BAM. I have another special pet.

Third Hunter? Nothing special yet. He's my hide from the world toon.

Now My 4th, this is my first on a PVE server. I recently came to it for my wife who recently started playing. In any case, I needed a pet that no one else had. I looked around IF and Stormwind and I came to me. I began my journey to the far north. Its was a good thing I’m a leatherworker, because my hide had been ripped from me many times. My soul still wanders the Eastern Plaugelands. I finally made it to my destination, The Ghostlands. That’s right I made my trip for the Springpaw Stalkers. I can now say that there is no one (or at least very, very few) on Kilrogg that have this pet. I can honestly say, this was the longest trip to get a pet I have taken. Thanks for letting me tell my tale.

Have fun everyone, and Happy Hunting.

I think it was. I've not seen anyone with this pet, and therefore well worth it to me. If your into the cat for a pet, I say go for it. Your not losing anything but the time to get it.

A side note to save time and repair bills, get to Southshore or Chillwind. once you die, just make the rest of the trip in ghost form (you dont have to run back to your corpse every couple seconds). Oce you go through the portal into Ghostlands, you'll still be in ghost form. Follow the road to ZA. just before you start up the hill to the instance on the left will be a Spirit Reser (not sure of their names). You can res there. Travel a little farther north and get your cat. Hearth out, and Vuala. You are now the proud owner of Springpaw Cat.

Doing this I only had 1 corpse run and almost no repair bill.

Good luck if you deside to go for it.
