Last night I was talking to a friend of mine, resto druid, about ....druid stuff. And after a couple of minutes, he tells me: "man, why don't you respec resto? It is more interesting, more fun, more...everything."
I have to admit I have been thinking about this change, but I was sort of...afraid of healing. Not working too often with healing made me go more for DPS, so, at one point, almost hating to heal.
Yet, this friend of mine persuades me to respec, and I do. Luckily enough, I have gathered some...healing items, NOT the best, just from random drops, quest rewards, stuff like that. This was just in case I would EVER need to heal. (used to be tank/DPS). So...
I ended up this way. Of course, more things are to be changed, I am aware of that, some enchants are there just because I leveled enchanting, DPS gear has to be replaced, more spi+MP5, more spell dmg+heal, I know.
BUT...
I enjoy healing with this druid. Cannot explain how and why, but I just love it. And my first test was...ALTERAC VALLEY. Man, I can tell you, I managed to heal 4 guys around me with those HoTs. It is so awesome. LB, Regrowth, rejuv, Swiftmend, works so fast.
But my ultimate test was to heal Drekh'tar. Was the only healer near him. With 15 allies attacking him (don't know why so few), I managed to keep him alive for 5 good minutes. Enough for them to run out of reinforcements.
I love resto...I really do.
