can someone link me what they think is a good warlock build for raiding?
ive been thinking of going affliction and have been looking all over at guides but i havent found one i liked

You are starting a Warlock? Meaning... lvl 1 and up?
I'd say then that you should get to 70 and then ask about raiding...
In any case: from lvl 1 to 49 stick onto affliction
from lvl 50 to 70 full demonology and then again up to affliction. Let the felguard do the job.
Early raiding: Heavy Affliction, either up to UA or at least to SM and then some destruction (up to Ruin if you didn't get UA).
The reason for this is that bosses are considered lvl 73 so you'd need a 16% hit rating to cap... 5 points in supression give you a massive 10%.
From then on... (myself unexperineced there), there seems to be a consensus on 0/21/40, sacrificing succubus and blasting away SB. However, as a notable exception, Oakenwrath has shown also that raiding with the Felguard can be a viable option.

lvl.1-70. afliction is the fastest leveler. mix of voidwalker + drain life + multi-mob dotting+siphon life+ drain soul rank.1 on anything about to die (also a healthy use of fear and Howl of terror) is the way to level the fastest. pulling 5+ mobs of 2-3 levels above you and coming out with more hp and mana than you started off with makes for easy fast leveling. by the time you hit 70 and raid kara. well again. stay afliction. you won't have the +hit/dmg/crit/health/mana for anything else.
I'm another oddball and occasionally raid Kara. And I do it as a demo. That being said, my guild is just dabbling our feet in. None of us is actually geared for Kara, we just check it out once a week.
If you want to really crank it out without having the best gear/enchants...don't do it demo.
