Ok so im planning on getting my rogue to 60 and keeping her there eternally so I can molest horde whenever I feel like it (since 60 PVP is still the best IMO). So my plan is to get full Gmarshals +the deathblow goggles when i can get the nether (2.4 non-soulbound ftw!) and maybe a few pieces from Ramps/BF assuming i dont go over the level cap. Spec wise im planning to go Hemo sub and get shadowstep (yeah yeah i know but its just for fun :) ) so i can bounce around on those hordies.
My question is should i go for Gmarshal Longsword/quickblade and either mongoose em or +15 agi both, or should i go for a dagger/sword combo and a different enchant type? Just looking for w/e would deliver the biggest numbers and/or perhaps most viability.
PS: May also consider mace spec, not sure how good it is since ive never played a mace rogue.

If i were you and i was going to stay with swords i would run through Hellfire Ramparts and pick up Shadowrend Longblade and by the time you do that you should be honored with HH in outlands and pick up the Footmans Longsword. Both of those blades have alot of DPS and i hit pretty hard with just my base SS.
I managed to do all that before i even came close to hitting 61. If you did start to get close to 61 then you could probably do what you are planning.
Btw most outland quest greens are a very good upgrade to most things in the Old World aka Azeroth. And maces is the PVP spec because of its chance for stun and ive only heard good things about it in PVP...unless something has changed in the last couple days Alla has been down.

I didn't replace my dual lvl 60 HWL daggers until like level 68 (there were a few options with higher DPS but worse damage ranges). I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I'd be willing to bet (without searching) that the former rank 14 weapons are your best bet. IIRC the sword is a 2.9 speed and has a beastly damage range @ ~60dps. I don't think there is anything that you are going to get that is going to touch that (for a level 60).
You won't find better weapons than the level 60 PVP rewards.
Some green "of the Bandit" gear might give you better stats than the Grand Marshal's stuff though.
