i am in dilema of my gear now.....
i been using spell fire and spellstrike set, with 10/48/3 build
however, i just got my t5 gloves and pants
so which should i use now?
t5 gloves and pants tend to give much lower +spell damage (well, i am not in arcane spec tongue.gif, so obvioulsly)
i am thinking to respec into arcane, but i am scared that my mana pool isn't large enough for it
i heard that arcane is the best last time, but deep fire or frost is better now?
oh, i got TLC too (which is being nerfed also)
so guys...can help me abit with my gear?
PS: i got t4 head also, if i were to use t5, shud i use t4 head?

Stick with spellstrike/spellfire until you reach fights where you need more stamina (I currently only still use the spellstrike hood).

just respec to aracane,

That poses a good question for me. My guild is farming Gruul and starting on TK/SSC (Downed Reaver for the first time last night!)
I am a deep fire mage, should I craft the Spellstrike set?

Still trying to get a new weapon, but with the loss in stats of the spellstrike set is it truely worth it?
edit: I did the math. Yea its better. The only thing I don't want to give up is my 100% chance to avoid interruption, oh and farming 10 primal mights is not going to be fun :(

well, another try at lurker...again no.3 in dps :)
beat the other 2 mages who are way better in gear then me
1 is with 4/5 T5 :)
and i had to use 2mana potion, 3 mana gem and 1 evocation with a shammy and SP
and oom totally at 2% lurker, so i sit down there and wait lol
well..certainly arcane seems good, but mana on concern....its really i shud get more mana
only got 11k with all buff :(

oh ya...forget about the shoulder enchant (haven exlated zzzz)
the bracer enchant i use something lower coz the mats are too expansive and imho the bracer that i am using is not worth for such as expansive enchant :p
and also the +hit gem, i haven change it as i am just trying my arcane spec, as if its no good, i will have to go back to 10/48/3 :)
any input to increase my mana, or dps or whatever is greatly appreciated :)

I assume that you had mage armor up? Also, you could get the vitality enchant on your boots and an mp5 enchant on your chest as well. Do you have another ring that offers more spelldmg? The one that you have gives you 21 spellhit (unnecessary for arcane, as you know you only need 76 to be capped).

You could also go for the pvp rewards. Vindicators neck piece, vindicators silk cuffs, vindicators band of dominance, and the gladiator dagger. And you could also put +15 spell damage on you bracers instead of intellect, unless your really dire for more mana.
Get rid of your hit rating gems and replace them with the plus 9 spell damage, you only need 76 hit rating (or around there) for arcane.
You could also get the arcane off hand from the badge rewards.
